Of course if u capitalize summer, spring, and Fall why don't u capitalize Winter
After India Got freedom from British colonialism, Unfortunately India was splitted in to Pakistan and India. On that time Kashmir was not a part of India or Pakistan. When Pakistan tried to Acquire Kashmir, The King of Kashmir sought help from Indians and they made an agreement with Indian Govt. Because of this we have included Kashmir as a part of India and gave special priveleage (Article 370) to Kashmir.
I hope You may understand what i meant................These are in layman language.....

Most people here wear traditional clothes, though you will see working executives and youngsters in western clothes as well. Traditional clothes for men include Kurta Pyjama in summers, but in winters, woolen clothes come out. A kind of an overcoat called Pheran is worn over Kurta. It is quite loose but inside Pheran, a warm pot called kangri is kept, such is the severity of winters here. For women, ladies suit and Burqha (veil) is the most common attire in summers and in winters Phreran are used.
Kashmir has been at the center of a brutal tug-of-war between India and Pakistan for over sixty years. They have been struggling to obtain the region. There has been a temporary resolution, known as the line of control, splitting Kashmir so that India gets control over two thirds of the region. However, even though tensions had lessened, they haven't stopped completely. Three additional wars broke out between India and Pakistan. Pakistan believes Kashmir belongs to them because of its Muslim majority. Also Kashmiri people would much rather be with Pakistan even though India is rapidly growing economically, because of its Muslim majority-they're in fear of being considered second class citizens to the Hindus.

Kanyakumari is just 8 degrees away from the equator. As equator receives the direct Sun rays, there won't be hardly any difference between the day & night. Where as, Kashmir is 37 degrees away from the equator. So there can be about 5 hrs difference between day & night.

If we look into the History, we shall come to know that at the time of partition of Hindustan into India and Pakistan, Kashmir had 75% Moslem population in it. Its Ruler, Hari Singh did not want to affiliate Kashmir neither with Pakistan nor with India. However, using diplomacy, Indian army declared officially without any proof that its ruler had affiliated it with India. The ruler was also shocked. BECAUSE HIS SIGNATURES WERE FAKE.
IN A NUTSHELL: Today It is the part of India due to itsegocentricity
