I was wondering the same thing. The answer is that it means nothing. A lot of street names are made up on the spot. There are no places called Brangbourne that the street is named after. The developer just thought it sounded nice.
good question which no one seems to have answered. We visited Mykonos as part of a cruise and as we wandered around Mykonos town we wandered out looking for a good beach and came across (what we now know) was the scooter hire shop (just a shell of empty building when we were there) run by Franka Potente in the final scene with Matt Damon. I kept thinking the windmills and the buildings looked familair on the day , but couldnt place them at the time. Anyway, if you come back up on to the road and keep the windmills on your right and follow the road, you will come to a great beach with a brilliant taverna with the road skirting all the way round the beach. Strange though, the water seemed to be patchy hot in places and patchy cold in others??? great to swim, sunbathe and have a beer.
Ok - the real answer I worked out via Google Earth and the flight path of the helicopter taking the shots for the final scene is iglesia de georgios church on Mpaos, the island directly to the west of Mykonos town. - use google Earth to find Mpaos, then look at the two inserted photos to north of island which say iglesia de georgios, compare with final scene - and there you have it. In the final scene the view past the church from the helicopter is that of Mykonos Town looking directly at the scooter shop, where Bourne and Marie rekindle their relationship in the shadow of the windmills I nearly didnt recognise, for Bourne 2. Having just seen the Bourne Legacy, I am afraid it will never be the same until Matt Damon gets back in the lead role again, and the questions raised by the Nicky Parsons ESP with Jason Bourne and his sensitivity around children (Wambosi's and Marie's friend Eamon's [played by Tim Dutton]) finally get answered.
My opinion is that contrary to the trailer for Legacy..... 'there was only one'
hope this helps, it's a beautiful place.
The Bourne Supremacy was filmed in London and in the Manhattan area of New York in 2004. It featured an all-star cast and topped the charts in theaters.
Sidestroke. We use it in special warfare to decrease your silhouette when approaching a populated area or beachhead.
No. Matt Damon did not appear in The Bourne Legacy. Jeremy Renner starred in that film.
He jumps from a rooftop, is shot on the way off, his body was never found (basically he is still alive) and we never hear anything about him again. And now some stupid movie called the Bourne Legacy is coming out this summer (2012) which looks like a piece of crap because the actor isn't Matt Damon. Matt Damon IS THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE AND MYSELF LOVE THOSE MOVIES. I hate the fact they dropped him for some stupid guy who played in the avengers as the arrow guy. Just stupid. Rage...
He's her former boyfriend.
Marie's stepbrother, the one Treadstone knew nothing aboutin Bourne Identity, appears in the third film, Ultimatium, living in Paris.

Not much. It was said in the first Mission Impossible that 'the mole' was making 60 something a year.
Yes. In the original Bourne novels, David Webb kills Jason Bourne (a convicted felon acting as a double agent to the Viet Cong) during Operation Medusa. Bourne had given away Medusa's location during a rescue mission to save Webb's brother. After fighting his way through the Viet Cong, Webb finds Bourne and kills him. Later, during Treadstone, Webb adopts the alias Jason Bourne, since the latter was still considered MIA, not KIA.
Karl Malden was not in any of the Bourne Movies.
I believe Karl Malden was in The Bourne Identity - in the opening scenes, he is sitting at the end of the table when they are discussing the CIA target - he doesn't have a speaking role.
Presumably he does. In The Bourne Ultimatum Jason Bourne tells Marie Kreutz's brother Martin that he had killed her killer (Kirill).
No. Kirill is left horribly injured, but his eyes are still open and he's still moving, albeit slightly. It contradicts the story for Bourne to kill him without the film elaborating further on it. In the confrontation with Abbott earlier in the film, Bourne says he will not murder out of respect for Marie's values, even if it means letting those responsible for her death live. His statement in Ultimatum that he killed Kirill only makes sense as a lie meant to put her brother's mind at ease.
The Bourne movies are based off of novels by Robert Ludlum. However the movie Bourne Ultimatum itself was written by 4 different people including Tony Gilroy, Scott Z. Burns, George Nolfi (screenplay), Tony Gilroy (screen story), and again Robert Ludlum having written the novels.
It looks like he is using a Zeiss 6x18 P* T* (or similar), they are rather expensive...
Just a hunch.....but somehow I think Brad Pitt must be involved in this. Brad Pitt is from Springfield, MO and anyone from Springfield, knows where 'Nixy" is.....=-) just "down the road" ... I can see Brad Pitt sharing a few stories about his hometown areas with friends & acquaintances....... I live in Missouri and actually have been to Nixa a coupla times to visit friends......it has lately been the site of a huge sinkhole....due to some of the caves under its expanse. It is actually kind of a neat town that is quickly melding to a Springfield/ Branson suburb..... But obviously it is a somewhat obscure place with an unusual name...in fact Wikpedia says....it is the only city with the name of "Nixa" in the world.......so no confusing that..... again.....just a hunch....=-)
