Booth wanted to restart the Civil War. He wrote in his diary that he thought the south would come to his aide, hide him, and also wanted the war to continue. He was wrong. How did booth use the play itself as a clock?

In "Hamlet," the structure and pacing of the play serve as a metaphorical clock, reflecting the theme of time and its impact on the characters. Booth utilizes the play's rhythm, shifts in dialogue, and moments of silence to convey the passage of time and build tension, particularly in Hamlet's indecision. The timing of key events, such as the ghost's appearance and the climactic duel, further emphasizes the urgency of action and consequence within the narrative. Thus, the play's progression mirrors the inexorable march of time, reinforcing the characters' struggles against fate.

What happened to isabel sumner after John Wilkes Booth who did she marry when did she die?

I am doing a research visual novel about John Booth. So I am looking to get some information about Isabel too.

The only information that I can find about Isabel Sumner was that she had a short affair with Booth in 1863. There are several letters from Booth to Sumner and they can be found in the Book Right or Wrong, God Judge Me: The Writings of John Wilkes Booth.

Also in the book, it says she was born on or about June 1st 1847. It also mentions a last name. Dunbar.

A quick google search for Isabel Sumner Dunbar brings up a grave site.

It lists the occupant's birth date June 1st, 1847 and Death Feb. 23, 1927.
