WHERE IS judy from the Dennis and judy show on j101.5?

She "left" the station... but who really know what happened. Casey from NJ 101.5 does a blog and mentioned it yesterday. See this article- it explains it:

http://www.trentonian.com/articles/2008/12/02/news/doc4934e27c93dc7237573838.txt Tuesday, December 2, 2008 2:25 AM EST By JEFF EDELSTEIN

Staff Writer EWING - Listeners of the popular "Dennis and Judi" show on New Jersey 101.5 will now only have the memories.

Judi Franco, who co-hosted the midday show with Dennis Malloy for the last 11 years, has left the station.

"I resigned back in September," Franco told The Trentonian yesterday. "I have a son at home with special needs, and three older kids. I thought the older they got the easier it would be, but it's harder. It's the old working mother story."

Franco said she had been thinking about leaving the show for a few years, and the thought of looking back in a decade and realizing all her kids were grown up ended up being the deciding factor. "I just don't want people to think I got fired! I'd hate for them to think that," she said. "I wish I could tell you they were all bastards and kicked me out, but that's not what happened."

Of course, since her final broadcast last week, she's woken up crying over her decision.

"I'm thinking, 'What have I done?' I've talked to Dennis 15 times a day since I left," Franco said. "But right now, for instance, I'm with my son, and I know I had to do it."

Over the last 11 years, Dennis and Judi have discussed nearly every topic under the sun, from state tax policies to the fact the author of this piece of journalism married outside his religion. Through it all, the show remained light, with comedy and timing always rising to the forefront.

As for future plans, Franco says she's "not looking to do anything else, and I'm not in discussions with anyone else; it was just time."

She said she has a children's musical she wrote, and it's something she plans on pursuing now.

Yesterday, Michelle Pilenza was on-air with Malloy, and according to the NJ101.5 Web site, she and Malloy are now the co-hosts in the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. slot.

No word if Judi's raspy-voiced dad, Joe Franco, will continue to call in.
