In Karate what is a Double Fist Block?
I've seen a couple of moves that could be considered a double fist block.
There is the X-block where the arms are crossed at the wrists and tight fists are used. One interpretation is that it represents a block and a punch that are combined together.
The other would be where the two fists are next to each other, usually in a double high block. This could represent a double punch to break the hold on one's collars.

There's no rule that girls do better in karate. Some would argue that girls are not as physically fit as guys. But karate is not about physical strength only. One should even have mental strength to succeed in the sport and it is known by everyone that girls are mentally stronger.
In my experience, girls that do karate really want to do it, and so their focus and attention is so much better than the boys that are trying to be 'macho' about it. Girls have to learn the technique correctly as they don't always have the size or muscle to 'power through' an incorrectly done technique, so their skill grows faster. The other thing is that girls, in general, have a natural ability to put their hips into their techniques, something that can be really hard for some guys.

What is the difference between shotokan karate and Goju ryu karate?
4th kyu in Meibukan Goju-ryu. The key to what separates Goju from numerous other styles of karate is in its name. "Goju" is made up of the Japanese words "go" (hard), and "ju" (soft), literally meaning hard-soft style karate. Hard refers to the straight/linear closed hand techniques. Soft refers to the more circular open hand techniques. The style is a combination of the two. I find it to have less kicking and more focus on "kata" (forms) than Shotokan.
Shotokan was derived in Japan based on Shorin-ryu karate from Okinawa.

What is the world record for hardest karate kick?
That's a difficult question to answer as only a select few have been recorded. Karate kicks tend to be much weaker than Muay Thai kicks as the Muay Thai round kick has more hip rotation. Both arts have a spinning back kick as does TKD; the spinning back kick is the hardest kick the body can throw (unless you include knees).
If you just wanna see some guys who can kick like mules check out Yodsalanki Fairtex, I think hes the hardest pound for pound kicker in the world.

It may or may not be more damaging. It depends on the strike, who is doing the striking and the target.
Also allow me to point out that a number of people have been killed in the boxing ring, by a boxer's punch. Death is as damaging as you can get.

How long in Karate does it take to be promoted a level?
3 months
That depends entirely upon the school and organization. In some the time increases as you progress up the ranks, taking a year from 1st kyu to black belt. I have no specific time frame for promoting students, it is based entirely on their ability and dedication. Someone that works hard and shows up to every class is going to move faster than someone that doesn't show up very often.
