No you can't because you the kindle fire doesnt use the same app store as iTunes. It uses both the android market and the amazon app store. The iTunes gift can only be used on apple devices, although not nesscessarily iOS devices.

I would rather read a book however the kindle is a great tool when you don't want to carry around a bunch of books. I have a kindle and its very convenient especially when traveling and vacationing.

it depends on how much damage there is because if it's a lot then you can't really if it goes into the hardware then its gonna b like a couple 100 bucks more because it is ill have to repair all of the inside of the kindle 2 but if there's just if it's just the screen is cracked then it's only not gonna be able to b very much.

You have to make/sign in to an Amazon.com account and provide the necessary information. That way, you are authorized to buy books and have a method for paying for and a device to which the books go to. Go to home>menu (top right)>Settings>Registration.

1. Go to' Device' in the options menu.

2. Scroll down until you see a on and off switch that says 'allow installation of applications from outside sources', turn it on.

3. Go to Google and search 'GO Launcher EX free download'.

4. Find a website that will let you download the app (this may take time).

5. When you find the app download it (to know the app is downloading look at the bottom of the screen and it will say 'starting download', but look fast, it is very quick).

6. Go to the Amazon App Store and download 'es file explorer'.

7. Open the file explorer and select the file that says 'downloads'.

8. Tap on the picture of a clover that says 'GO Launcher EX' to install.

9. Open the app and you will have an Android home screen.

10. Tap the home button and select complete action using GO Launcher EX also select use action by default.

11. Click the center button and your apps are displayed (you can drag then to a screen if you want).

12. Find the app that says 'Launcher' and drag it to a screen.

13. Click on it to go back to the regular Kindle Fire format.

14. Click on the clover app to go back to the Android format.

Much, like the Ipad, you can sycronize the kindle. there are apps you can download (workoffice) to be able to make word documents, powerpoints, and use microsoft excel. Much lke the other kindle's the kindle fire can store a wide range of books.

Word on the street was that is WAS functioning to control the auto-screen brightness, but it was disabled in the first update Amazon pushed to the Fire. Most likely because it would really chew up the battery.

When a Kindle Fire freezes you automatically shut it down and wait 30 seconds . Then turn it back on and refresh what ever page you was on . I have real life experience with this kind of troubles.

It can, and using it while it's charging won't hurt it, but sometimes it's difficult to use the Kindle Fire while it's on the charger. This may depend on your version of the Kindle, but there are some that are glitchy and difficult to use when they're being charged.
