The kindle fire is a tablet computer version of amazon's kindle e-book reader. The kindle fire can store apps, from the andriod store and the amazon store. It can also store magzines, before they com out on shelves! It can store music and you can sur4f the web. Much, like the Ipad, you can sycronize the kindle. there are apps you can download (workoffice) to be able to make word documents, powerpoints, and use microsoft excel. Much lke the other kindle's the kindle fire can store a wide range of books.

Word on the street was that is WAS functioning to control the auto-screen brightness, but it was disabled in the first update Amazon pushed to the Fire. Most likely because it would really chew up the battery.

It can, and using it while it's charging won't hurt it, but sometimes it's difficult to use the Kindle Fire while it's on the charger. This may depend on your version of the Kindle, but there are some that are glitchy and difficult to use when they're being charged.

Edit: I guess the fact that it's "only for books" explains why I have wasted way too much time since Christmas playing apps like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, and Fruit Ninja. The Kindle is only for books. The Kindle FIRE runs apps just fine.

The answer right now, however, is no, you can't. I'm guessing they'll support it someday, but right now, I haven't found a way to run it on my Fire. I've heard that there IS a way, but I can't find out how, and it doesn't run as well as on the iOS or Androids (because it's not fully supported).

there is not an app for moviestarplanet on the kindle fire because i think you have to scan a code off of the screen and the kindle fire does not have a camera hope this helped

Depending on your Kindle type, generally, you can't trade any Kindle device for a Kindle Fire, unless the two are completely interchangeable. Not only is a Kindle Fire more expensive than any of the others, but even in chances that there are three different styles of Kindle FIres available, nothing can be traded for a Kindle Fire these days.

When the Kindle is ON press the Power Button and hold it down. Then press the Volume Down button and push it down too until the Kindle goes off. Just don't let any button go before it goes off. That should fix the problem.

About 8 GB but Amazon gives you some cloud storage that you can access on your Kindle in a Wi-Fi area. Also some can give you 16 GB and I heard some even give you 32 GB but that might cost extra.
