How do you defeat sephiroth in standard mode in kh2?

n__n i beat it! YAY! But the ending was sad. u___u and the DMW is affected by how many SP points you use, so that helps if you convert some of your materia into it. And equip for best offense when your fighting Sephiroth! Make sure to have a Phoenix Down and when the final battle with Genisis comes after you open the gates with the Goddess materia equip for best magic. when his sword is by his side in his monster form then use blizzaga and just keep doing that. Well, don't do it when he sends out those reaper people, and don't use close combat with them either. Use firaga and keep your distance cause they'll gang up on you. Firaga and thundara will work on them from a distance, and usual theyre firaga attacks wont reach you. After that he'll become human again and youll have to fight him, no close combat, stay a distance, dodge and block his attacks, use thundara and blizzaga the most, curaga yourself even if you've lost only 1/4 of your HP because he'll sneak in some strong attacks and will kill you just like that. After you defeat Genesis your in for a long mini movie and then you'll have to fight the Shinra army (not really) just attack randomly, doesn't matter cause Zack'll die in the end anyways.

Elbow grease! I recommend leveling up to at least 45. It will make it easier to cruise on through to the end of the game. Make sure you have as much invested in HP as you feel comfortable without squandering your CP. it should be a healthy balance between the two, with sleights thrown in as seasoning, not the main course. Find what works best for you, but try and get as much defensive buffer in your green health bar as possible, and strong sleights to whip Riku into shape. May I recommend Oogie Boogie? Regen is an indispensable ability. Good Luck!

The trick is the round with all of the rabid thrusters. When the round starts, use Magnega and Thundaga as much as possible. With this, I got 2000 points just in this round. If you can't seem to get this, just remember to kill all the enemies yourself. The ones that Donald and Goofy get, I think, do not contribute to your point factor. I'm not sure of this, but definitely use Magnega and Thundaga.

you can get power gems from Shaman (monkey heartless) at the pride lands in the wastelands. the shaman riding the living bones heartless wont give them to you though so only the shaman will do. i hope i helped. Roxas is a Nobody who was created when Sora vanquished his heart using the Keyblade of People's Hearts at Hollow Bastion. In the process, Namine was born. Namine is a Nobody that is half of Kairi and half of Sora. Sora turned himself into a Heartless, and when anyone with a strong enough heart becomes a Heartless, the empty shell left behind is turned into a Nobody.

This Nobody, Roxas, was found by Organization XIII and used as a way to gather hearts, since Roxas had control over the Keyblade. After Roxas left the Organization, he was defeated and put unconscious by Riku who then gave Roxas to DiZ. DiZ put Roxas in a virtual town and hid him from the Organization so that he could become one with Sora once again. This is the prelude and beginning to Kingdom Hearts II.
