이게 뭐예요? (i-ge mwo-ye-yo) = what is this? (you can replace 이게 with 그게 [geu-ge] (that thing closest to you) or 저게 [jeo-ge] (that thing over there)

[note: this sound 어 (or 'eo') sounds very similar to how you would pronounce 'uh.' i'm not even sure how to describe the pronunciation of 으 ('eu'). you're best bet is to learn the alphabet. it's pretty straight forward. of course, there are irregularities/exceptions to pronunciation]

Now, with the "eu" sound, it's very hard to explain how to do it RIGHT; you kind of make an "ooo" sound with your teeth closed and without your lips. I mess up sometimes too, because I didn't start to learn Korean until 3 years ago(and I don't get much practice). I suggest you look at youtube videos to see how it's done.

As for the "r", it's a mix between L and R.
