If you have a bad battery in your laptop it should not prevent it from booting up when plugged in. However, it depends on how long your battery has been bad. When your battery goes bad it can start giving off chemicals. Those chemicals can get into your hard drive. When those chemicals get in your hard drive they ruin your hard drive. That prevents you from booting up from your hard drive. That makes your hard drive worthless. If you do not have good backups, you will spend a lot of money recovering the data from your bad hard drive. You may be able to boot up from a CD ROM or the Internet depending on your computer.

'Sonic Robo Blast 2' is indeed an excellent free game, and - luckily - one which is easy to get running on the Eeepc. I downloaded it this morning onto my Eeepc 701 SD (with standard Xandros OS), and so far it's working fine.

First, follow the instructions (VERY carefully) about pinning your system and adding extra repos available here:

Then download 'Wine' - a program which allows Windows programs to run in a Linux environment (yes, I know that SRB2 is available in a native Linux form, but for various reasons it would probably be easier/safer to just use the Windows version).

I'm running the standard Wine 1.0, and SRB2 works fine under it.

Finally, download the latest .exe file from 'www.srb2.org' (other sites offer the file for download, but they mostly have older and inferior versions).
Right-click on the .exe file and type 'wine' into the 'Open With' field.
Initially, I tried unpacking the file into the standard Linux 'Z: Drive', but experienced some major program issues. However, after removing and reinstalling it in Wine's virtual 'C: Drive' (as recommended in the above Wiki article), it now works fine.

There do seem to be some minor issues:
The music seems distorted, but can be safely turned off without detracting from the game's playability.
Every 30 seconds or so the frame-rate inexplicably drops off for a fraction of a second.

I use to have this problem all the time on my laptop. Eventually we had to switch providers. You can try making sure you are receiving a connection and then diagnose the connection. That should tell you what is wrong. Depending on what the answer is will determine what you need to fix. Try seeing if your IP address is still functioning. If you have another computer with internet access, you could probably go to your internet provider's website and get on a help chat desk to talk live with someone.

Depends on your phone type. Some phones let you copy and paste, but others you have to make an account with a certain company. I.E. Itunes. I could tell you how to hack your phone but apparently that might be saw as bad advice sorry.
