How do you change the upper motor mount on a 1996 cavalier?
support you engine from below, you will have to remove the coolent reservior, it only has one 10 mm bolt holding it down and it will just pull up. I dont disconnet the reservior lines, however it woudl be a suggestion to disconnect the electrical connector. Then its really simple to do from there, I use a 5/8 socket and remove all the nuts from the studs. There are only 5 nuts to be taken off and of course the engine bolts themselves. Hope it helps, when you get to working on it, you will say, wow this is really simple.
