Frostbite is like one. but it isn't as good as limewire. but if you want videos and movies i would suggest frostbite.

Sorry to say but you can't get limewire music to windows media player just put a music disc in limewire and burn songs on that!

Yes you can! Took me a longtime to figure it out.
- Go to User/ Documents/ Limewire/ Saved
- Select the files you want by highlighting them or of course to select multiple files, hold down ctrl button and select files.
- Right click on your selection and click on add to Windows Media Player List.
- Or if u hav Wndws Media Center you can go to the settings menu and set it up to pull music from the Limewire saved folder
Do you have to pay to get LimeWire pro?
Yes but if your lucky you can download it from a friend or from a decent user. Just make sure its the right size and includes the number you probably have to put in to use it.

Frostwire is like it... but it's even better .. you can not only download songs but programs, games, movies ect. and frostwire is sponserd by i tunes so when you download a song on frostwire it uploads automatically to itunes.

In your OS. In a file labled Shared. If your trying to get it on WMP just drag it from the list to WMP.

Why do people put viruses on LimeWire?
There are two main reasons, this is because they want to mess up your computer and put keyloggers/ trojans onto your system. Keyloggers are a piece of equipment that records anything you type and are used to steal passwords for online games and other stuff like that and the other reason is to put trojans/other viruses on your computer. Trojans are huge viruses that completely mess up your computer and you'll most likely need a new computer if you've got a Trojan. Why do they do it? because they have nothing else to do.
To stop this you should scan your computer regularily for viruses.

If it has totally disappeared then there is two possible ways this could have happened. The one that you're hoping for is that you changed the directory in which you save the files once their downloaded. If this has happened simply go into the Limewire Settings and change this. The other way this could have happened is you deleted the files. If this has happened then check your recycle bin and if the files are in there restore them. If not then I believe the only way to get your files back is to download them over again.

How do you put downloaded movies from LimeWire onto a DVD?
Burn them. Either use a regular burning program that burns it to a DVD and use the DVD as a data disk, or use a program that can convert it to the right format. For the first option, you could watch the movie on a computer if you put the disk in, then explore the disk and double click on the video file. However, you wouldn't be able to watch it on a DVD player. If you do want to watch it on a DVD player, you'll have to pick the second option. Get a program that can convert the file and then burn it to the DVD.
No you can not scan then first unless you want to scan the web page it comes form. If it is in a program you could have a look for some reviews or you could download then not run it but scan it first it should prevent the virus form spreading.

Cops just don't sit around they take action to illegal things. If you know someone who has downloaded Limewire to their computer make sure they uninstall and delete it. For the safety of you and your frinds DONT INSTALL IT!
