How to reprogram your remote entry transmitters
You must have all remote entry transmitters (maximum of four)
available before beginning this procedure
1. Ensure the vehicle is electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the (OFF) position to (RUN).
4. Cycle, eight times, rapidly (within 10 seconds) between the (OFF)
position and (RUN). Note: The eighth turn must end in the (RUN)
position.
5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been activated.
6. Within 20 seconds press any button on the remote entry transmitter.
Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will need to start the
procedure over again.
7. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that this remote entry
transmitter has been programmed.
8. Repeat Step 6 to program each additional remote entry transmitter.
9. Turn the ignition to the (OFF) position after you have finished
programming all of the remote entry transmitters.
10. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming

How do you change Front left inside door handle in Lincoln LS 2002 3.0L V6?
Remove door panel. There might some variance depending on your car year but I have a 2001 Lincoln LS that has a few screws at the bottom, a big screw on the top side near door latch, two screws under latch in pocket of elbow rest (where you use to close the door), and then one inside the door opener plate. The plate comes off pretty easy if you just pry infront between the wood piece and plastic, it pops and slide forward. After all screws removed, just work your way around the panels to pop out plastic plugs. Then, remove wire harnesses to door controls. After door panel is removed, you'll see that the door opener and lock is held on by 3 rivets. Just drill them out and when you replace with new door opener, use nuts and bolts to screw new part on. Unless you have a rivet gun, then go for it. Don't forget to remove the wire that runs from the latch to the opener/lock. It should just pop up and out. Viola! Hope this helps. Google "replace inside door handle Lincoln LS" and you'll find a lot more forums with info. Apparently, Ford likes to use cheapthe plastic stuffplugs that breaks so easily. Don't get me started on the gas accelerator cable inside the engine bay! Yup! Plastic that broke! Bottom line, the procedure listed here is what it takes. Good luck!
