How do you remove shifter on Lincoln ls?
easy... pull down black fascia in the bottom part of the shifter and you will find a screw holding it...
Since the alternative is to replace the IAC, you may as well attempt to clean it. There are warnings for what time of cleaner to use but WD-40 works well for me. Remove the IAC by disconnecting the electrical connector and then the 2 screws which secure the IAC to the intake manifold. Turn it over to reveal the valve which is electronically actuated. You'll probably note it is black with carbon. Spray the inside with the cleaner multiple times. Use a small screwdriver or something to work the piston back and forth somewhat. Just a little movement is all that's needed. More cleaner. Slosh, repeat. Shake it out and install in reverse order of removal. Crank it up. If better, great. If not, replace IAC.

Your rotors are warped. You will need to remove the pads and rotors and take the rotors to a machine shop and have them turned. Then install new pads. Make sure you torque the lug nuts to factory specs. Over-tightening the lug nuts can warp the rotors.

I want to know what can I do to fix my window temporarily until I can get it fixed. I don't know if the window is off track or if it needs a new regulator. I toke it to an auto glass place and they didn't even look at it they just said that it was the regulator, and that it was comman with the Lincoln ls. the first thing you should always do is check all fuses , if there all good , was thare any work done on the vehicle recently, if so look in the aria in question for disconected wiring or damaged wiring-unplugged connectors. if all checks out good, id consider the fan to be suspect.

The Fuel Cap may be secure, but there maybe a pinhole leak or microscopic crack allowing the 'pressure' that the fuel tank needs to properly run... hence the signal.

The bucket seats are electric. Move each seat forward to the front as much as possible. Also raise the seat cushion.
Now from the back reach under the seat, the filter is about 3 inches round and is located below the cushion almost in the middle. A quarter turn will release it. Repeat procedure to replace it with the new one.
