They did a bit of lip synching back in the 80's on some Japanese shows, but they don't do it now. So no, Ann does not lip synch :) She has no need to with a voice like hers.

Only sometimes, and some artists. For example, Carrie Underwood does not lip-sync. On the other hand, someone like Eminem would have a hard time singing live. So it really depends on who you're talking about....

Vitas does NOT lip sync in live concert. I have seen him three times from the front row! He sings live. All performers sync on TV. Vitas is very good at dancing and singing at the same time, but it is very evident his concerts are live! You can even hear his live voice when he pulls the mic away. Why will people just not believe that he is THAT GOOD!!!???

Most celebrities lip sync at some point or another. Particularly in videos and movies, Typically the song is recorded in the studio and then they lip sync their own voice while dancing or being on the beach or wherever.

There is less problems with noise from the environment and trying to sound clear while dancing around an moving.

They record their voices in the studio and while acting they just lip sync. The recording process needs a lot of equipment in order that the output is clear, which cannot be done while acting.

when converted into a smaller file when uploading to veoh for example. any stillness in the video is mistaken for over duplicated frames so they remove the frame to compact the video.making the video sequence shorter so the video plays before the audio does.

The cast all sang their own parts and only lip sank some songs. They did as many as they could in person, but for some they did have to lip sync because they were either moving around too much, outside where the microphones weren't strong enough, etc.
