- Berethor's best attack at this point in the game is Etchellion Wrath, but this does not always work the best on heavily-armored enemies, such as the Uruk Pikemen. Try using Targeted Strike (which Berethor might not have as early as Helm's Deep). Targeted Strike ignores the enemies armor while attacking.
- Morwen is useless in Helm's Deep as the powerful and quick Uruk Beserkers take her down before she can use her decent offensive attacks. Don't use her in Helm's Deep due to her vulnerabilities against piercing and slashing attacks.
- Elegost is somewhat useful at Helm's Deep despite his weakness against slashing and piercing attacks. This is because he can use his Arrows of Sleep to put MOST enemies asleep, or Paralysing Shot, which will make an uruk that uses melee attacks (such as a swordsman) unable to attack.
- Eoden is useful at Helm's Deep, not because of his wimpy spirt powers, but because of his Rupture Armor spear attack, where he ignores the enemies armor for major damage!
- Remember: the key to beating Helm's Deep is to simply not let the enemies with armor keep it. Use as much Morgal Decay as needed, and if you run out use Berethor's Targeted Strike, Idrial's Loudwater Fury, and Eoden's Rupture Armor attacks, which all do great damage to armored foes.
