The legend is -- when he finished conducting the debut performance of his 9th symphony the audience applauded wildly. A member of the orchestra had to go over to Ludwig, turn him around and point to the audience, so he could see how much they loved his symphony.

Rather unromantically, the Fifth Symphony was written purely for fiscal reasons, i.e. Beethoven needed money. Count Franz von Oppersdorf commissioned a symphony in February of 1807 and paid Beethoven 200 florins up front to make sure he completed it.

Hindenmath was a distinguished interpreter for Ludwig Van Beethoven. Beethoven has went down in history as a famous composer, known for his piano sonatas. His music is taught in schools across the world.

His ninth symphony is the longest of his all symphonies. It has a striking feature of adding vocals in the last movement. A typical performance of the entire work would take 50-60 minutes.

There are several rare examples of this collection of the 32 piano sonatas; the most famous of which is held by the Britten selection, published by Augenener & co in 1885.

The Britten book is heavily annotated in the owners young hand, but other more original copies survive. One edition, original, perfect and currently for sale, is owned by the poet and musician Alistair Morgan, who can be contacted by phone (not on Christmas day or Royal funerals) on 07872 829129.)

Beethoven was always an angry being, (as portrayed in his NO 5) so much of his music was influenced by emotion. it is said that he fell in love so it could possibly be that love helped him paint on his canvas of silence. it must have been that he was influenced at many different moments because when he had an idea if he could not reach out a get a paper then it would be that he would take a pencil or his fingernail and carve out what he was thinking on the walls, on his piano, on the floor, on dressers, etc. but right now what we know is Beethoven was influenced by mostly his emotional childhood and love. and also-now that i think about it-he was mostly angry because of his loss of hearing (but that's a completely different subject) i bet if you go on Wikipedia then and search for Beethoven it should give you something close to an answer.

It is doubtful that Beethoven would have been a better composer had he not become deaf. His encroaching deafness gave a new passion to his music as he struggled to deal with such a terrible situation.

Beethoven wrote 38 to be exact! Though the last 6 didn't have opus. Have a look at 'How many piano sonatas did Beethoven wrote'. There are some extra details about this question.
