The madden 2004 default PC controls are:

D= sprint, change players on defense, select menu options

(same as the X button on ps2)

F= spin move, change players on defense, sprint on defense

(same as the O button on ps2)

E= catch on offense or defense, call for a fair catch, exit from menus(go back)

(same as the ∆ button on ps2)

A= left stiffarm

G= right stiffarm

W=left juke

(lightly= quick burst ahead juke left, hard press= slow, sideways juke to the left)

R=right juke

the arrow keys are :

left arrow = player moves left/ moves through menu options leftward

right arrow= player moves right/ moves through menu options rightward

up arrow= player moves forward/ move through menu options upward

Note: when on defense the perspective is flipped around. Pushing the down arrow makes the player run towards the bottom of the screen. So on defense pressing the down arrow makes your player technically run 'downard', however, the player is actually running forward.

Umm i think i threw my madden 2004 out a couple years ago but i would think you go to depth chart i mean its not like you can change a QB into a RB or anything but you should know the basics.
