Simply heat water on the stove or in a microwave. Test the temperature. You have to be able to tolerate the heat. Then immerse your hands in the bowl of hot water for 15 minutes. After the polish softens, gently scrape off.
Vinegar is a natural substance. Putting this acidic substance on polish will break it down and make it possible to wipe off. Simply put a small amount of vinegar in a bowl. Add citric fruit such as lemon, lime or an orange, and mix in with the vinegar. Put a cotton ball in the mixture and wipe on your fingernails. First you want to make sure you have what's called a No Chip Manicure. A No Chip Manicure is a gel base that is applied to the natural nail bed (you can add extensions). An actual No Chip Manicure is NOT acrylic and it does not require a drill to remove.
There are several no chip manicure products available on the market (Bio Sculpture Gel, OPI Axxium. Shellac, Gelous etc). The majority of them require that you remove the top gel (sealant gel) by buffing off the sealant gel with a file. Take a peice of cotton (not the entire cotton ball) and dip into 100% acetone (not nail polish remover there is a difference). Then take a small peice of aluminum foil and wrap your fingers with the cotton soaked in acetone. You can add a hot towel or heating pad on top of your hands to speed up the process. Wait 10-15 minutes and then remove the No Chip Manicure with orange wood stick.
Shellac on the other hand only require that you just wrapped the nails in the cotton and acetone without removing the top gel. Pretty fast removal.

Why are bumps in painted nail polish?
either, because the nail polish is too thick, or old. most polishes do no, why not try, getting a new nail polish see if it does, mine don't bubble up, however some brands do because they may be cheap and not well made.
My Answer-
Yeah, if you put too much on, it's like paint and if you don't remove the excess it will clump up into a bubble and harden. It could also be because oxygen is trapped inside the paint, when it's put on your nails, it try's to escape but the polish hardens and doesn't allow it to go away. Thus the bubble.( It's like when you put a sticker on something, you have to press down evenly and make sure no air get's trapped under it or you get air pockets.) I recommend you stir the polish up more.
