1.) Paint your nails with a very light nail polish (EX: white / light pink)(make sure the nails are dry or will not work)

2.) Dip a cottonball or other soft paper in rubbing alcohol.

3.) Get a piece of nevespaper that would fit your nail (could be bigger than needed) and place the newspaper on the nail, so the newspaper is wet with alcohol.

4.) Take the wet piece of newspaper and place it on your nail and hold it down for about 10 seconds.

5.) Wait about 10 seconds without touching then apply top coat.

6.) peel off the newspaper gently off and you should have the print of newspaper!

7.) Repeat steps on all fingers

IF NOT WORKING.. (possibilties)

*nail polish color to dark

*nail polish not dry enough

*newspaper not wet enough from rubbing alcohol

*used magazine paper insteasd of newspaper

*pulled off newspaper from nails to fast.

*applied top coat to fast.

*moved newspaper to much when putting on nail

There are many other reasons why it may not have worked.

No because nail polish remover is for taking out nail polish and rubbing achohal is for taking out bacteria.

Damage to the nail bed, usually. You may have hit or trapped the end of your finger a while back, and it's damaged the base of the nail. It should grow through with clear nail behind it.

Pink is a good choice for any skin color, earthy browns, gold, orange-reds look good on dark skin.

Any medium to dark colors work well.

Dark skin is best to stick to yellow based shades.

Using acetone or nailpolish remover usually does the trick.

Looking at the various material safety data sheets (MSDS) in proprietary nail polish thinner, they all seem to be proprietary formulations with varying amounts of a range of "organic chemical" solvents including: acetone; ethyl acetate; butyl acetate; methyl ethyl ketone; hexane; etc. So the best solvent would be a proprietary nail lacquer thinner. Other options include: solvent acetone; paint thinner; shellite. (I use acetone and it seems to work fine.)

It depends on what item the nail polish is staining. It is nearly impossible to remove nail polish from fabrics/carpet/tablecloths because the nail polish remover will bleach and damage the fabric before it will remove all the color of the polish. Commercial stain remover products will not be effective on nail polish as it is paint based.

If it was spilled on glass then it is safe to use nail polish remover. On wood furniture it will also remove the varnish and wood stain along with the polish so that isn't good either. In other words, your parents are going to "notice" wherever you spilled the polish.

There are a few things you can use to get rid of a callous. You can use a nail file to reduce it's size just be careful not to get too close to the good skin. You can purchase a pumice stone in a drugstore in the nail/foot section. You usually wet it and rub it over the callous to remove it. In the same section of the store, you could get an exfoliant scrub and rub that over the area as well. If the callous is on your feet or hands, you can go to a nail salon for a pedicure or manicure and they can do it but it will cost you $20 - 40.

take alum. foil and pure aceton.

Put the aceton on a cotton ball ( soak it real well) put that on te nail and wrap the nail in the alu foil.Wait for about 10 min then take it of.There will still be some on the nail wich you can scrape off easily with a wooden manicure stick
