That is right now unknown. If you mean the sequel to the incredible hulk (2008) it depends on the last scene of the film.

****Spoiler Alert****

the last shot of Bruce grinning and about to change into the hulk could go 2 ways:

1. Bruce finally masters the anger within him and can control it and turn into the hulk at will, and not change without warning. this means there will be a direct sequel.

2. the shot means he doesnt have control and is about to go on a rampage unwillingly, this means in the 2011 avengers film, the hulk could be a villain or evil, etc. in this case, there would not be a direct sequel, but the hulk will appear in the avengers for certain.
