How does the speed of an AMD 64 3200 compare to a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz?
The 3200 bit of AMD 64 3200 means that the processor is equivalent to a Pentium 4 3.2 GHz processor. The reason that they do this is to stop you getting confused as AMD processors run a lower clock rates but they are a lot more effcient than Intels in processing instructions, so they put the equivalent speed of a Pentium that can match the performance of the AMD chip.
What does avogadro's number represent?
Up till now this corresponds to a value of 6.02214179(30)*1023 elementary entities. (SI unit mol). (uncertainty +/- 5 ppb)
However this might (almost certainly) change in near future (2012?) when SI is 'updating' international standards, definitions and values of the fundamental constants.
(Yes, even the 'standard kilogram' might bere-defined; what a piety for the Paris Standard)
From:
"The mole is the amount of substance of a system which contains as many elementary entities as there are atoms in 0.012 kilogram of carbon 12; its symbol is 'mol.' "
(14th CIPM (1971, Resolution 3; CR, 78)
In a note to the CIPM in October 2009, Ian Mills, the President of the CIPM (Consultative Committee - Units (CCU) cataloged the uncertainties of the fundamental constants of physics according to the current definitions and their values under the proposed new definition.
He urged the CIPM to accept the proposed changes in the definition of the ....
kilogram, ampere, kelvin and mole so that they are referenced to the values of the fundamental constants, namely Planck's constant (h), the electron charge (e), Boltzmann's constant (k), ....
.... and ....
Avogadro's constant (NA): [There is a broad consensus in the chemical community of the advantages in fixing NA, (fixing means: uncertainty nill ppb)]

What is the greatest number of digits of pi that have been memorized?
100, 000
This figure has not been verified by whoever verifies such records.
67,890 seems to be the highest widely recognized number.
What comes before gazillion numbers?
Negative numbers, possibly. And, by the way, there is no such word as "gazillion".
How do you use the universal gas constant?
The Universal Gas constant can be used to relate the volume, temperature, pressure, and quantity of a gass to each other. The relationship is PV=nRT, or the pressure times the volume equals the number of moles times the universal gass constant times the temperature.
What is the value of the rate constant?
I depends on the problem. The rate constant is different depending on the problem in which it occurs.
What is the ratio of the sequence?
The answer depends on the sequence. The ratio of terms in the Fibonacci sequence, for example, tends to 0.5*(1+sqrt(5)), which is phi, the Golden ratio.
0 is absolutely nothing. Infinity is absolutely everything. So, no.
Although there are some interesting mathematical phenomena that seem to make this true (2/0=x) they are not equal.
What are the numbers in the 74th and 75th decimal places for pi?
