His father beat him and always told him all of the defaults he had. we all have things that we don't like about ourselves whether it be emotional or physical. And Michael didn't like his nose very much because his dad told him how ugly he was every day. he also had an acne problem and his father would tease him about that too. Michael needed encouragement and not have people bring him down. Michael was also not weird. He just needed people to help him throughout his life.
