Why is Milwaukee's basketball team called the Bucks?

User Avatar
A buck is a male deer. According to my father, the team held a contest after Milwaukee was awarded the team to pick a suitable name. I believe buck was suggested by a number of people. Wisconsin is a big deer hunting state. But why a buck? They are powerful and agile, which in basketball are two useful skills.

How great is Kareem Abdul Jabbar?

User Avatar
as great as you want him to be, to some people hes horrible to some hes the best player ever i think that he is one of the best basketball players ever, he set many records when he retired but some of them are now broken, but that doesn't mean they weren't amazing record. saying he is horrible is nothing but lies to me, he is the best center to ever play in the game and scored the most points ever in an nba career, and he set the record for most points in the all-star game, but that was broken by Michael Jordan.
