You can break the block with an iron pickaxe but not gain the drops. Not sure why they added the ores but not the actual redstone. I suggest not mining it so in the future when they add redstone, you have the ores to mine.

By coming across an NPC Village. Theses villages contain accommodation for the villagers and you will see many of them at the village. If you want to find the village, simply google NPC village seeds, copy and paste the seed into your minecraft under advanced world options when creating a new world, and your done!

Mojang never really releases the dates for any updates, when they update the Apple version they usually upgrade the other versions as in Android, Tablet, etc. At same time.

There are Bukkit plugins already available to do that on Bukkit Minecraft servers, but they haven't released any information on actually implementing that into the game.

Yes and no. Yes, you can go to a poor excuse for the nether and no you cant go to the real nether. The poor excuse is the nether reactor. It basically puts netherrack around you and spawns LOTS of free items -__- Just break one block of the netherrack and you are outside in the same world. Pathetic i know. Hopefully they add the real nether

I have a Kindle and an iPod Touch, and this frustrates me too. On your Kindle, apps will automatically be updated, you don't have to do a thing. Unfortunately though, Kindle updates come out a couple days later than iOS updates. It does make sense though, MCPE (MineCraft Pocket Edition) is more popular on iOS than it is on Kindle, so the software with the most users will be updated first.

Good pocket doors can be found at almost any hardware store. Two good places to check are Lowes and Home Depot. They have numerous choices to choose from depending on your style and how much you are willing to spend.
