In normal Minecraft there is no such thing as butter.

If you mean gold ore then no, you need an iron or diamond pickaxe.

When you start up the Minecraft Launcher, above 'Log In' is 'Settings'. In the Settings, select 'Force Update', then 'Done'. It will re-download the minecraft.jar, wiping any changes you have made to it.

With a water bottle, brew it with nether wart to make the awkward potion. Then kill blazes by yourself(without any crusher) to get a blaze rod. Turn the blaze rod into blaze powder and brew the blaze powder with the awkward potion to recieve the strength potion. Now here's a map to brew it.

water bottle+ nether wart= awkward potion + blaze powder= strength potion + glowstone(optional)= strength potion 2

You'll need two iron ingots, a stick and a crafting table.

Right click on a crafting table to open the crafting interface. Place the stick in any slot on the bottom row of the crafting grid, and place an iron ingot in each of the slots directly above it.

Either by color/design, or with a nametag found in dungeons, mineshafts, and nether fortresses. Name the tag in the anvil first!

To make a nether portal you will need obsidian which can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe and flint and steel. put 4 obsidian blocks going horizontal and 4 going vertical. connect the top with 2 more obsidian blocks then light up the inside with flint and steel. if you did it correctly the inside of the rectangle should turn purple. then step inside.

To make an ender portal you have 2 options. option #1: play in survival and locate it in a stronghold (similar to a cave but with decorations and cobwebs) because you cant make one. option#2:play in creative and make a spuare with 2 sides that have 4 ender frames and 2 sides that have 4. break the corners. then cut the inside (not the frames) 1 block deep. then put ender eyes ithe frames. if it doesnt work then destroy one frame and put it back and then place the ender eye again. if done correct, the inside of the frames should look like stars.

Use a spawn egg in creative or look for a nether fotress where they spawn.

I do not know why you would want to clear your XP, but if you do, kill yourself In-Game.

If you're to download Minecraft from their site, it'll give you a .exe that you can use to play Minecraft through. Once you've downloaded that just double click, enter your login, then after it finishes you can play.

Unfortunately on non-modded Minecraft version 1.5.2 the highest level enchantment sharpness can go is IV or 4. However if you have access to a Bukkit Minecraft server then you should be able to download and add "Tim the Enchanter" plugin where you can add enchantments of any kind to any item to 127 levels.
