For a crafting table, just put 4 wood planks in a 2x2 configuration. For a real-life looking table, I think you have to use worldedit. Place a fence block unconnected to any others, and a block on top. Use Worldedit to change the block on top to a pressure plate.

Minecraft is kind of just based on building stuff,surviving monsters,such as skeletons (shoot arrows at you),spiders (attack and also can climb walls),creepers (sneak up on you and blow up),endermen(if you look them in the eyes they will open their mouths and attack you,also teleport if get hurt),spider jokeys (skeleton riding a spider) and zombies (basically wanna eat ur brains,attack you). Also just explore the world of minecraft and begin adventures and stuff. You can basically do what you want! There are also really cool mods and texture packs (change the blocks and items) you can download to add to the game that will allow you to do/have much more things than you could,like mo' creatures (adds more animals) and stuff.

First of all you need an Enchanting Table, which can be made by, in a crafting table, on the first row middle slot put one book, on the second row put diamond/obsidian/diamond and on the bottom row put obsidian/obsidian/obsidian like this:

Once you have an Enchanting Table, take a crafted items but only things such as tools or weapons. This is the list:

*excluding items such as the fishing rod, bow, arrows, sheers, etc.

As far as I can remember that is all you can enchant currently as of 1.0.0.

to enchant your item, open the Enchanting Table screen after placing by right-clicking, then put your item in the slot on the left above your inventory. The enchanting number is random, but can be made higher by placing bookshelves within two blocks [leaving a one block space] of the Enchanting Table.

You need experience to enchant items which can be achieved by killing mobs and picking up the experience which fills your experience bar, which is above your heath and hunger bars.

you need to have two accounts,

if you mean together on a server you still need two account and

then one person must then download the mine_server.exe. from minecraft.net after which rune the exe file. then both people must join the server.
