The Minecraft launcher (when you first start the game) will ask you, when there is an update available, if you want to update or keep the old version.

The Asus runs minecraft pretty well, there may be some problems here and there though.

Basically, if you buy it on Xbox you have a standard performance which you can rely on. However on PC if you have a bad computer ( graphics, memory etc.) then you won't enjoy Minecraft PC as much as if you have a good computer. If you already have a great PC then buy the PC version, if you have an Xbox and a bad computer in terms of performance then buy the Xbox version. Get a good gaming PC and you will never regret it! I built mine from scratch, way cheaper, lots of fun and actually really easy (buy a good book on it!) My PC cost £305 and is great for minecraft and other games! Also price is different, Xbox is cheaper than PC by around $6/£4/€6.

In my opinion, the PC version is the best, it has the largest following, always has the newest version, can be easily modded, recorded and servers are way better with loads of amazing minigames, factions and more!

Some of the best include:

Efficiency V (Breaks blocks really fast)

Fortune III (Triples the ore drop rates)

Silk Touch I(When you break a block, you will get the block, i.e: When you break Smooth stone you will get smooth stone instead of Cobble)

Unbreaking III (Makes your pick last longer)

That all depends on what you want to accomplish using the sword. If you want to kill undead mobs easier, then smite. If you want to push back mobs, then knockback.

I don't know because I know minecraft is popular , but in pokemon , they only say millions and millions of people play it .

It means that the server or the person connecting to the server do not have the same game version. If the server is v1.7.2 and the person connecting to the server only has v1.7.0 then they can't talk to each other. Or it can be the other way around. They both have to have the same version of the game.

It depends on what you are referring to.

It may be either the login name to the game (which would be your characters name) or the login name for their website.

It is not possible to change your name using a command, that function only works on mobs. There is a way to change your name but only for a small while in a server with plug-ins.

It's the web browser based version of the full game. You can't save anything you do but it will give you an idea if you will like the game or not.

And you still have to register to play the demo, e-mail, password and the user name of your charactor.

First off, find a river. They will generate randomly, so just walk and find one. Then swim to the bottom, until you find a black that looks like gray dirt. That is clay. Dig it, and it will drop 4 clay balls.

There is no crafting recipe for a saddle. The only way to get one is to find dungeons. Dungeons are found randomly. To find them, find cave systems and follow them until you find mossy cobble stones and mob spawners. You can also find horse armor in dungeons as well

If you are making a world then:

At the Main Menu press: Singleplayer -> Create New World -> Gamemode: Creative.

If you already have a world then:

(If cheats are enabled) /gamemode c or Press 'esc' -> Open to LAN -> Allow Cheats: ON -> Start LAN World -> Go back into game and type /gamemode c

Note:Opening your game to LAN will not allow random players to join your world, if someone else in your house is using the internet and are searching for LAN worlds on their PC then they might be able to join (but to be honest I have played loads of LAN survival with my friends and you can't actually see the world unless you have an amazing internet connection, we usually have to type in the port).

If you mean downwards (to bedrock) 63+ depending how high you are, low biomes like plains fall about this height. This is the same if you are using pocket edition or on an Xbox.

If you mean across land, it depends on the version. If you are on 1.7.(anything) which you probably are it is 30,000,000 blocks from your spawn in any direction until you reach an invisible forcefield. You can teleport to the other side using the /tp command but many glitches occur there. In a recent 1.8 snapshot and since the edge of the world is customisable, look at mojangs instructional video to find out what the command is. I believe the default is still 30,000,000 blocks but you can change it. This is only on PC I am not sure about Xbox, but it is probably the same, or similar.

In Pocket edition the world is very small, only a few hundred wide and long, outside this border you cannot get to and no blocks exist.

The disk only has the installer not the full game. After you make the account the installer on the disk will download the game for you then every time you log into the game it will check to see if there are any updates available and ask you if you want to download it if there is.

If you buy a new computer or replace your HD then you can download the game by just going to their web site and downloading it again any time you want.

The two main methods of placing multiple blocks at the same time in vanilla Minecraft are either:

Fill Command, type "/fill x y z x2 y2 z2 block" replacing x,y,z with the start locations and x2,y2,z2 with the end location (making a rectangle area). The block should be replaced with any of the Minecraft blocks for example 'stone'.

This requires command blocks unless you want to type the command each time and relative coordinates can be used.
