How long does it take after conceiving for a pregnancy test to show up positive?
Read the box, some tests are different. There is one test that can give you results a week before you miss your period, but most you need to take after your missed period. You are ovulating (the time when it is possible for you to conceive) two weeks before your period starts. You ovulate for a couple of days and sperm can live in your body for a couple of days, so you can get pregnant from unprotected sex for about a week each month.
The best time to take the test is the first time you go to the bathroom in the morning. This is when your urine will have the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone.
How long does it take to get over a miscarriage?
Physically most women get over them within a few days/weeks. I have had 2, one at 7 weeks and one at 10. In both instances, my period came back the next month, and I felt fine within a week. However, the emotional part of it is much more complicated. I've begun to discover that grief isn't something we should expect to get beyond. It's better, for me at least, to think of it as someone I'm trying to make friends with. It has been 3 months since my last miscarriage and I still have frequent moments where it feels like my soul has been sucked out. I am trying to respect and learn from that feeling so that I can use it to help other people who are in pain. Keeping it in this perspective helps me not to sink so low that I just want to die. I hear from other people who have been through this that it gets easier, particularly after you have a baby, but you never stop thinking about it.
In cases where the placenta comes loose and you start to bleed and even pass out or it's very late in the pregnancy, yes it can be fatal due to the bleeding.

It means that there is still the presence of the pregnancy hormone (hCG). Home pregnancy tests give positive results when they detect the presence of hCG. It can take days to several weeks for a woman's hCG levels to return to baseline after a miscarriage; it all depends on how far along she was. Taking home pregnancy tests in the first few weeks after a miscarriage is not a reliable way to check for pregnancy because of all of the false negative results, due to the lingering pregnancy hormone in the woman's system.

Best of luck to you on your pregnancy and hope everything will be alright for you.
What usually happens during a miscarriage?
Every woman will have a slightly different experience with a miscarriage, just like we all have different symptoms with our menstrual cycles. Some women feel almost nothing and some have some cramping. This also will vary with a miscarriage depending on how far along the pregnancy is.
Usually nature's way is to stop (or abort) a pregnancy in the first three months when it is clear, through signs and symptoms of the body, that there is a development problem with the fetus that is not going to get better. Most miscarriages will occur in the first eight weeks. When it happens this early, some women don't even realize it is happening, it may just seem like a heavy menstrual period. Later into the pregnancy, is when the symptoms can become more severe.
Prenatal care is essential in all pregnancies, but starting with early examinations is critical in pregnancies of younger women, older women, or women with medical conditions or prior problems taking a pregnancy to term. The medical professional will know what to expect and can guide you better when there have been regular examinations prior to any problem symptoms.
Typically the first sign is bleeding. A little bleeding very early in a pregnancy can be normal, so there is no need to panic, but contact your doctor and describe exactly what has been happening and they will let you know if you need to come for an exam right then or not.
If the bleeding is associated with painful cramping, pain in the abdomen or low back, you should not hesitate to get urgent care especially later into the pregnancy. Bleeding and pain together usually are indications of a miscarriage. Cramps can be very severe, almost like contractions with a delivery and they will similarly become regular. Time them to report to the medical professional you see at the hospital or urgent care center. Often the cramps are four or five minutes apart. Bleeding and mild cramping may occur over several days. During that time you should avoid strenuous activities and sex to allow your pelvic area and uterus to relax until you can contact your doctor.
If the bleeding is continuous and heavy and/or pain is severe or clots and tissue are passed, you should get immediate care. As the miscarriage progresses, bleeding will continue and there may be passing of clots and other tissue (usually greyish-colored products of conception) from the vagina. If you can collect samples of this to take with you to emergency care, put it in a clean container so it can be examined to verify the miscarriage. If you begin to feel dizzy or confused, fearful, or have rapid breathing and heart rate (like signs of shock), sweating, nausea or vomiting, or weakness ...Call 911 (or the emergency number where you live). It could be that you have been having significant blood loss and need emergency care. Don't try to drive yourself to the hospital, get an ambulance.
There will usually be some slight bleeding for up to two weeks afterward. A small portion of women will have excessive bleeding or infection after a miscarriage which will need a return to the doctor or hospital for professional attention and if the bleeding is severe, there is a fever over 100F, or drainage that has an odor from the vagina and/or signs of shock, seek emergency treatment again.
Yes, it is possible to be pregnant and have a miscarriage before learning you were pregnant. When you sat on the toilet to urinate, your body was in a position to easily pass the fetus, which may be why you passed it when you did. But if that is what happened to you, you need to see your doctor to find out why you didn't start your period until the next day, and to make sure the uterus shed the lining (afterbirth) as it should. When a miscarriage occurs, bleeding begins either just before passing the fetus, or immediately after.
When will be your next normal period after miscarriage?

You got Mirena in May and am still bleeding heavily and have really bad cramps is this normal?
I am sorry to hear that you are having a bad time with the Mirena. I too had the Mirena and experienced the same issues as yourself over an 8 month period. It turned out that I had several oversized Fibroids and the Mirena did not help with the stemming of heavy bleeding. I had my Mirena removed and subsequently the Fibroids - best thing I ever did. I know they say it can work instantly or may take a couple of months, but it depends on how long you want to continue with things they way they are. Good luck with which ever dicision you make.

`Gravida/para` status is medical shorthand for a woman's obstetric history. Gravida indicates the total number of pregnancies a woman has had, regardless of whether they were carried to term. Para indicates the number of viable(>20 wks)births. Note: pregnancies consisting of multiples, such as twins or triplets, count as ONE birth Therefore, a woman who has had two pregnancies (both of which resulted in live births) would be noted as G2P2.

Have essential oils ever caused miscarriage?
Yes. Essential oils and herbs have been used for centuries to abort or help pregnancies as well as many other reasons.
Certain essential oils are very absorbent when put on the skin. They can be very toxic (NEVER TAKE INTERNALLY!!!!!) different ones cause different things. some cause the uterus to have contractions to expel the baby. others cause the uterus to strengthen.
If you are pregnant keep away from essential oils (grapefruit oil can be ok) and especially don't use them on your abdomen.
If you are wanting to do a herbal abortion read all the facts as they can be very unsafe if done wrong. If you are wanting a healthy baby then stay away as they can not only cause miscarriage but birth defects also.
