Does Soma show up in a urine drug test by probation and parole?

No. Soma (Carisoprodol) is a muscle relaxant and is nottested for with the current basic 5-panel urine test. These are the tests most popular with parole and probation and most jobs due to their low cost, although the type of test will vary according to your situation. Stay educated.

The 5-panel tests only for: 1) marijuana, 2) opiates like heroin or painkillers, 3) cocaine, 4) Amphetamines and Methamphetamines, and 5) Phencyclidine (or pcp). Soma is also not even tested for with the more expensive 10-panel test; however, it IS detectable through higher end testing.

Are hrdrocodone and morphine the same type of drug?

Absolutely not! Vicodan contains a narcotic called: hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is classified as an opiate--it is a man-made opiate. Other opiates include: oxycodone, morphine, fentanyl, and heroin. Opiates are used to control moderate to severe pain, and they are highly addictive.

Methadone is a synthetic substance as well. Recently methadone has been approved for Chronic pain relief in small doses, and addiction treatment in higher strengths. Methadone has a very long half-life though (24-48 hours) and withdrawals can be felt long after the pain relief properties have subsided. That is why methadone withdrawals are worse than any other narcotic pain reliever, and sometimes worse than Heroin itself. Because of this, methadone is considered a last resort for pain medication, but due to it's low cost and long lasting effects, it is becoming more popular outside of addiction.

I don't think so.. Vicodin is helfing pain but Methadone eleminates is.. But you have to be carefull when you will take Methadone you cane have a apnea, ist twice more risk of death then Vicodine but ist legle and Vicodine is more dependent. So if a would have to choose between Methadone and Vicodin I would choose Vicodine because I would not wont to die when I will sleep.. every doctor can tell you that. I now because I'f been through than

Is oxycodone more addictive than morphine?

Any chemical, if you take too much of it, is dangerous and possibly lethal.

Drinking too much water too quickly can upset electrolyte balance in the brain, nerves & heart. This can easily lead to seizures, heart arrhythmia, unconsciousness and even death. Its called water intoxication.

So, not surprisingly, a powerful opiate like oxycodone can be dangerous in doses even slightly above those recommended by one's doctor. The main dangerous is respiratory depression. Typically, a person breathes about 12-15 times a minute when at rest. Under the influence of opiates, the respiratory drive is diminished (reduced). As the dose increases, the level of respiratory depression increases as well. If one takes too much, then respiratory depression increases to a point where there's not enough oxygen reaching the brain and heart. This can cause further respiratory depression making things even worse. If not treated, this can lead to hypoxia and even death.

Does Xanax have morphine or codine?

No, Xanax does not contain codeine. The active ingredient in Xanax is AKA Alprazoam, and the rest is filler ingredients. Codeine is a pain killer, Xanax is a benzo. Completely unique medications for completely unique conditions. Stay away from both unless you are prescribed them by a doctor. Codeine can damage your kidneys, and Xanax is highly addictive.

In the late 1800s, the days of the wild west. It was given as a cure - all for almost anything, even was given to babies to help them sleep. Not until the early 1900s did doctors realize that people were becoming dependent on it, and we were becoming a country of drug addicts.

What would happen if you take 4 morphines at once?

First of all, you would probably start to sweat very badly, become nauseous, and end up very, very sleepy. If that in itself didn't kill you (Because your breathing rate would slow down and it would have an affect on your blood pressure and those might kill you) you would end up going into renal failure (The liver and Kidney's can't remove the toxins quick enough), end up jaundiced and unable to remove toxins from your body, and since the body isn't removing any more toxins (because it can't) all your other organs would start to shut down or be very badly damaged.

If you DIDN'T die from the overdose, you'd end up on dialysis for the rest of your life, you would probably end up in a hospital or health care facility because of how much they have to monitor your kidneys and liver, as well as the meds and foods you eat, and alot of your organs, especially the liver, kidney and brain would would just cease to properly work ever again.

(other)

Firstly, I'm not sure that sweating, nausea and sleep would kill you. Also I doubt that the kidneys would be damaged by morphine, as a long term cancer patient, I have taken large doses of morphine for years and my kidneys are fine, morphine is not toxic in itself. More likely, the person will feel an ecstatic rush of pleasure, become very drowsy and fall asleep. The lungs will slow down and eventually the person stops breathing. (A far less painful and traumatic way to go than what the above author states.)

or if you are suicidal then don't try this because it wouldn't work you would just be sick for a while no one would notice but you wouldn't DIE unless that is just me.

Most probably. However, there are subtle differences that may allow you to take codeine. There are other opioids that you may be able to take. Hydrocodone (Vicodin) and oxycodone (Percocet) may work for you. You might also consider tramadol which is totally synthetic. Good Luck.

Should you eat before taking morphine?

Some people will feel nausea soon after a dose and some food taken with your dose will ease this. Drink plenty of water with your dosage and continue hydrating while on morphine.

Can you mix Morphine with Oxycontin?

It completely depends on your tolerance. I have mixed Morphine and Oxycontin together, and they seem to harmonize quite nicely in my opinion. In fact, I have done just that about an hour ago... **BUT** I also have a high tolerance to narcotics. I had been taking Vicodin and Percocet on and off as a teenager, and then one day I was introduced to Oxycontin. Because I have a highly addictive personality (it runs in the family), it was bound to happen. I became hooked on Oxycontin and began on a regular basis for three years. I need about 80-100mg of Oxycontin to even begin to feel the way I need to feel in order to get things accomplished and be a more sociable, successful human being. These days, Vicodin and Percocets are nothing more than to help me fuction without being thrown into fullblown, crippling withdrawal. Narcotics, in my opinion should be prescribed for depression as well. So yes, to make a long story short, mixing Morphine with Oxycontin wont kill you, but if you're opiate intolerant, take the lowest dosage possible. Actually, if you are opiate intolerant, I would suggest not even trying them at all. Withdrawal and addiction is very real and one of the hardest things to overcome. Take in moderation and be safe.

I also believe that pain killers should be perscribed for depression. Alot of people are doing that same thing self medicating
