The mugal empire was founded by Zahir-Ud-din Muhammad babur.He was born in the year 1483 & died in 1530 . He won the battle of panipat by deafitng ibrahim lodhi (the last ruler of lodhi dynasty).And then captured Delhi and Agra.The second battle won by him was the battle of chausa. He gaved his thone to his elder son Humyun

Mughal emperor Jahangir signed a commercial agreement with British East India Company and allowed them to establish trading posts in Surat and later on in Bombay, Calcutta and even Bengal. East India Company's forces crushed resistance from local rulers and grew in influence and power and eventually weakened the Mughal rule in sub-continent.
