Are somas considered a narcotic?

No, Soma is a muscle relaxant, generic name carisoprodol. Soma has a potentiating effect when combined with opioids, so that it is occassionally used in conjuction for pain control. Carisoprodol is considered to be highly habituating. Actual true opiates are mostly gone from the pharmacy, having been replaced by opioids -- synthetic opiates that tend to be easier to produce, and have fewer allergic reactions.

Can you take robaxin with percocet?

I don't see a problem with it. Percocet is a pain pill and robaxin is a muscle relaxer. When I went to the doctor the other day, I was taking a soma (a very similar muscle relaxer) and a percocet together. Then he prescribed me robaxin. I'll probably end up taking a percocet with it.

But if you want to be 100% sure, ask your doctor.

Anxiety Disorder

Panic Attacks

Panic attacks can happen as a result of panic disorder or agoraphobia and Xanax can help with these symptoms. It can also be used for certain situations or phobias such as fear or flying, driving or other stressful events. “In the case of social anxiety disorder, Xanax is more commonly prescribed for cognitive symptoms such as worrying about performance or the judgment of others. Can xanax and soma be mixed?

Why would anyone want to do that? That is a recipe for an overdose.

I guess you could say that to someone that has no idea of what he's doing. What are the dosages for all of those drugs. You obviously could overdose but there are ways to get around the OD'ing problem but we'd need accurate dosages for the seroquel, ambien, percocet, xanax, and soma. I can say from experience that xanax and somas are dangerous when you add things to them. Soma and xanax would be very fine. Just gotta know what you're doing before you're doing it.

Can you take muscle relaxers and ibuprofen together?

Since you have not identified the "muscle relaxer" you plan to take with ibuprofen, it would not be appropriate to attempt a broad-brush answer here.

You're advised to get in touch with your pharmacist or prescriber (if either of your drugs are prescription-only) to get a more specific answer to your question. Be sure to clearly identify your medication before you call, so you don't have to scramble while somebody's waiting to answer your question.

How do you know if a toe is broken?

Its hard to be 100% sure by just looking at it sometimes. If you had an injury or direct trauma to the area and there is swelling, pain, difficulty weight bearing, these MIGHT indicate a fracture. You don't always see a deformity.

If your toe is twisted or out of normal alignment, don't delay care. Get an X-ray and doctor's care to prevent a permanent deformity.

However, doctors do nothing special for an ordinary fracture of a toe. They simply tape it to the next toe. The tape should NEVER be tight. Swelling should NEVER appear at the end of the toes -- if so, the tape is too tight and should be removed promptly. After icing the area, and all swelling going down, it can be re-taped.

Rest, ice and elevation are the 3 measures used for toes. Rest means stay off it as much as possible. Elevation means put it on a pillow when sitting and laying. Ice means 10-15 minutes of an ice pack, then remove; reapply every 4-6 hours for 15 minutes. Always put a towel or cloth between the ice and the skin. Ice can freeze skin, so check the skin every 5 minutes when ice is on, and move the ice to a new position.

A broken toe usually starts to feel better within 1 week if you do rest, ice, and elevation. It can take 2 weeks for swelling and bruising to go away. Pain can persist in the toe's joint for months, or off and on for years.

Prevention: Wear closed-toe shoes even in the house, no flip-flops and no bare feet.

What is stronger a 5mg Valium or a 10mg Valium?

This truly depends on if you take any medications in the benzodiazipines class. Some that you may of heard of are Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan... there are many others but you are most likely to have heard of xanax or Valium as they are the most commonly know, and in the states Klonopin is one of the most commonly prescribed, due to it's "Lack of dependency quality" this class of drugs in most countries are "controlled" meaning a medical professional would have to prescribe it to you. To get to the nitty-gritty bare bones answer;

YES 10mg of Valium is the strongest dose they make... however it is about equal in strength to .5mg of Xanax... similar yet largely different effects, Xanax is most commonly prescribed as an EXTREMELY fast acing drug to be taken when an anxiety attack come on, and is very powerful, yet Valium is more slow to act, and has more of a relaxing, tiring effect. So for someone that takes 5 1mg xanax a day, Valium is not strong to that user, however for someone that has never taken one of these medications before or does not take benzodiazipines regularly, consult with your Doctor to make sure that 10mg is NOT to strong for you.
