Muse (band)
Muse are a British rock band that began in Teignmouth, UK in 1994 under the name of Rocket Baby Dolls. Members of the band are Matthew Bellamy on lead guitar and vocals, Christopher Wolstenholme on bass and backing vocals, and Dominic Howard on Drums and backing vocals.

Muse's style of music can only be defined as "Alternative". It is totally unique, though there are some clear influences from bands such as Radiohead and Queen. Some of their songs have been classified as rock, but most do not fit this description. The only genre worthy of describing them is "Matt". Everything about Muse's music is insight into the complex inner-workings of Matthew Bellamy's mind.
Unfortunatly I have not been able to find a radio station that plays muse songs regularly. If you have satalite radio, you can sometimes get lucky and catch "Uprising" on these stations. "The Blend" and "The Pulse". But that's IT! I have only heard Uprising on the radio! And they barely EVER play it! I think that Muse should be more regularly played on the radio! : D

Matt Bellamy, Dom Howard and Chris Wolstenholme, the three band members, were all part of the group that wrote and composed Resistance.
Actually Matt wrote all the albums apart from absolution which chris wrote. but they all performed it.

After they split, Matt and Dom mad a band called 'Rocket Baby Dolls' after a porn film they'd seen. Then they changed it to the currently used name 'Muse'
