If you do not own the versions of Pokémon Diamond or Pearl, or Platinum, Hayley will still automatically bring a new Pokémon to the Pokémon Ranch every day. Since "My Pokémon Ranch" was a game made exclusively for providing a large storage system for multiple Diamond and Pearl games, it defeats the purpose of owning "My Pokémon Ranch" if you do not have these DS games to interact with it.

You cannot get Hayley to get an Arceus in My Pokémon Ranch however you would be able to deposit one of your Arceus into your ranch.

The entries are arranged alphabetically, and within each entry the methods for obtaining the legendary are arranged from easiest to hardest.

Some things to keep in mind while using this guide as a reference:

We've only included ways to obtain each Pokemon that are transferrable to the current generation of Pokemon games (Diamond, Pearl and Platinum). This includes Pokemon that are obtainable in these three games, as well as through any of the GBA Pokemon games (FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald). Information pertaining only to Generations I and II (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal) has been omitted due to its incompatibility with the current generation. It's great that you still have that Mew on your Pokemon Blue cartridge that you got when your mom took you to the Toys R Us event in 1999, but nobody is playing Red and Blue anymore.

Some general rules for catching in-game legendaries for anyone who doesn't know what's up already:

-Always save before an encounter with a legendary in case you accidentally KO it.

-Never save after you've accidentally KOed a legendary. Once you KO a legendary, unless you reset without saving, it will not be available again without starting a new game from scratch.

-Status effects are generally good for making Pokemon easier to catch, but never use Poison or Burn on a legendary, because you'll end up KOing it before you're able to catch it.

-Having a Pokemon that knows the False Swipe move is always a good idea to avoid accidentally KOing the legendary (False Swipe guarantees your opponent will always have at least 1 HP remaining when you use it).

-Any Pokemon obtained in any GBA version can be transferred to Diamond, Pearl or Platinum via PalPark (if you're unfamiliar with the PalPark process, it's explained here in detail) after beating the Elite 4 and obtaining the National Dex.

Also, keep in mind that all of these Pokemon are also obtainable via the GTS (Global Trade Station) in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, as well as through trading with your friends. The information in this guide should help you make informed trades, so you don't get scammed by some jerkhole trying to trade hacked mutant level 1 Mews. Be careful out

There is plenty of ways to get a mew in d/p/p. But there is not a event. So you you would need to use either a "Pokemon modifier cheat" or a "run into this Pokemon cheat" which are both on the AR database, or if there not there (which is unlikely) search "Pokemon modifier cheat diamond pearl" on Google, and I guarantee you'll find it. (instead of asking further questions use Google, Google is your best friend)

It's a game. You get your DS/DSi and you like, plug it into the wii (it's also a wii game) and then you get your Pokemon from your game and transfer them into your ranch. (If you gave your Pokemon a nick name it'll go by it's nick name). Make sure you don't want that Pokemon, or just want it in the ranch cause once you put it in, can't get it out. Your Pokemon look diffrent/3D and they look funny lol. You may put in any Pokemon you have. You can use any of your Pokemon games for it. Sometimes there's a Pokemon WANTED. Which means they want you to catch and bring it in that form of it. Everytime you come and visit your Pokemon at your ranch, Haley (The instructor and friend/helper of your ranch) will give you many sorts of Pokemon. And whenever you're leaving your ranch, Haley asks you if you would perfer a water, fire, rock.. All those types of forms for your Pokemon. And after you answer, she says "Ok then!" And last thing you see before you leave is a picture of your Pokemon in dark with a question mark ? In the middle of it. Just like if you watch Pokemon, they ask for comercials "Who's that Pokemon?" It looks just like that, except it doesn't ask you. Anyways. the next time you go back (IT can't be the same day, but you're welcome to your ranch at anytime) to your ranch ( has to be the next day not the same day she asked you what Pokemon you wanted) you will receive your Pokemon that she asked if you wanted. First time you start to play Pokemon Ranch, you will be able to name the ranch whatever you wish to name it. You get to have characters to take care of the Pokemon at Pokemon ranch. Your charaacters can be choosed if you have mii people. Your miis take care of the Pokemon and usually at the top of your screen it would say something like "Lisa is sitting with Pikachu." Or "Does Pikachu like Lisa." Something like that (Sorry if I'm wrong on what I'm saying, just been a while since I've played Pokemon Ranch). You have to use your wii remote to controll your camera, to chose where to move your Pokemon, and to do many, many other things. The most coolest thing it could do is something like, whenever you hold your wii remote and throw it down (but still hold onto it) Then the whole Ranch and Pokemon would shake. It's very noticable. Sometimes they fall into the ground, or maybe you make a tornado and the miis and Pokemon all get sucked into it, then just fall down after. Pokemon Ranch is an extremely fun game. There are many, many secrets to it. Kinda.. It's a cool game, funny, and sometime weird. Lol.

Pokemon ranch is simply a game where you obtain Pokemon by waiting through days. There is no battles and hardly any customization, It is simply to see Pokemon in a chibi-like form and watch them interact with each other.
