Open skills generally deal with changing or varying aspects of a game (eg. a pass, a shot, a hit, etc.), while closed skills generally deal with the predictable or "set" aspects of a game (eg. knowing the set or predetermined plays/routes to run). So an open skill could be ones ability to follow and abide by plays that the coach/team has set, compared to an open skill such as ones personal ability to handle the ball, or shoot. The center who won the toss stands in the center circle facing the way they are shooting and the other center can either cover the ball from 3ft away or mark another player but must stay in the center 3rd. The GA stands on the right of their attacking 3rd behind the line being marked by the oppositions GD. The WA stands on the left of their attacking 3rd behind the line marked by the oppositions WD. well in netball you cnt really hog the ball, you aren't aloud to run, so i guess working as a team is benefisisiaal coz then if ou are caught holding the ball for more then three seconds then theother team get the ball

When you catch the ball, which ever foot you last put down is your pivoting foot, the other foot is now unable to move. If you are in a good position to pass the ball to one of your team then do so, if not just lift the foot that isn't "stuck" and turn around making sure your "stuck foot" is on the floor at all times when you are in a good position, pass the ball. If you have jumped to catch the ball and have landed on two feet then you can choose. Just remember to always keep 1 foot stuck (make sure its the right one too) Hope this helped x

You need to work your way up the levels, so get into county team/nationals/regional etc. You will then be scouted to play professionally.

You need good stamina/fitness levels, team work, agility, skill, height, speed.

You can kick it, throw it, bounce it, hit it with a racquet or a bat, juggle it and do many other actions with it.

Muscular Endurance is how long the muscles can perform repeated contractions at, or near a maximum level for an extended period of time with becoming tired or fatigued.

In Netball you would need to have good muscular endurance in your leg muscles so that you would not become tired after running up and down the court for the duration of the Netball game (one hour).

The role of coach in a netball team is to create better players and teams. They are in charge of everything from establishing training and training times to keeping players up-to-date on any netball-related news or games in their area.

They can - I'm a boy of 13 and I do, because I found basketball too difficult and frustrating - but I don't find netball very easy either. If you are playing in a certain position in netball and cross a third where you are not allowed to be, this is called off side and there is a penalty. This penalty is that the opposing team will be awarded to the ball and it is a turnover. To cross into another third that you are not allowed to be in is if your foot is over that line. Center can go over all thirds and she can only get off side if her foot or part of her body passes the goal circle marker. Wing Attack can only go in its two attacking third, this is the same for Goal Attack. Wing Defense and Goal Defense both are only allowed in the center and defensive third whilst Goal Keeper and Goal Shooter are only allowed in the defensive third for Goal Keeper and Goal Shooter can only go in its attacking third

The role of a scorer, (or shooter) is to shoot the ball at a high percentage. The scorer is usually the best shooter on the team. The shooter (or shooting guard) usually has the most points per game.

forces are used in volleyball when you are bending your knees to bump the ball, when you are setting the ball to a hitter(wings), when you are serving under hand, and serving over hand (spiking). There are forces in every sport in EVERTHING! Otherwise the world would be still!

The advantages to netball are your height. If your small you run heaps, but if you are tall you defend well.
