Well, you need an exceptional muscle tone, along with a lot of agility. It really depends on your position, for instance I am a 14 year old, 6"3 190 pounds, i play the point guard position. I must be fast, agile, strong and smart. My friend on the other hand is 7"1 255 pounds and is very strong and relentless.

The ref will toss the ball, whoever gets it first takes it. Three tosses per pair if both players keep catching the ball at the same time, then the two C's get to take the toss/s.

Cricket and football are two completely diff.sports.while footy is played by over a billion children ,cricket is only played in a handful of countries.if u ask a guy in Brazil whats cricket,hell shake his head dumbfounded .in Spain if u go to a cafe ull hear only 2 words, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Similarly in Manchester ull hear only utd and city .wheareas if ur in India which is reportedly cricket crazy,during ipl people will be talkin only cricket but during other times ull be hearing only arsenal,manchesterutd,Chelsea and athletico Madrid. Jerseys of messi,Rooney,Cristiano ronaldo,simao,and aguero will be everywhere.SO WAT CRICKET NEEDS IS DURABILITY,WHICH MEANS NOT ONLY FR 2 OR 3 MONTHS.for eg.ipl.airtel champions league etcetc.see the premier league and la liga.played thruout the year. Cricket is SO predictable.in wc finalonce India started to bat,it became obvious dat dey wud win.however,in 1999 champions league final,when solskjaer scored,noonre expected it.when zidane headbutted marcomaterazzi noone expected. SO football is unpredictable unlike predictable cricket.but football shud learn from cricket by introducing goallline technology.eg lampards clear goal against Germany disallowed.

PERSONALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOOTBALL IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE IN A DIFFERENT LEAGUE THAN CRICKET.

In netball if the umpire/ref calls footwork, the game stops and the other team is handed the ball. Although you do not have to stand down or next to the player of the other team =) hope this helps

Your not allowed to step with the ball at all. Or elseyou will get pulled up for stepping.

It may be to your surprise but quite a lot of people don't believe netball is a real sport. Also Netball hasn't been around for very long and is a variation of the sport, basketball. Just as T-ball and Soft Ball is a variation of Baseball.

Each variation sport has their haters and lovers, although Net Ball seems to have quite a lot of haters.

There for, being a 'variation sport', not being very old and isn't played anywhere else in the world (or not in very many countries) it isn't included as an olympic sport.

To become represented at the Olympic Games a sport has to fulfil a number of criteria, beginning with the "Value added by the Sport to the Olympics," and including its popularity, geographical spread (75 countries in 4 continents for men and 40 countries in 3 continents for women is sometimes mentioned), and governance. It must be played by men and women and have an International and National Governing bodies, an internationally applied set of rules and a detailed and recognised code of ethics. The cost of mounting a Championships, the provision of equipment and the history of the sport are all taken into consideration. Finally, it must be voted on.

Netball is quite widely played in 60 or so countries and certainly qualifies from a popularity point of view, but while it passes on most counts (although the International Federation of Netball Associations still doesn't include the men's game), it is doubtful whether it would add a great deal to the Olympics, when basketball (which is similar, from which netball was originally derived and which has far more players around the world) is already an established Olympic sport.

Nevertheless, the International Olympic Committee certainly keeps Netball under review, and has encouraged its development in various countries.

Netball isn't currently part of the Olympic games but there is a growing campaign to get it included in the coming 2012 Olympics to be held in London.

The Goal attack is a shooter with the goal shooter. The goal attack has to try to run out and receive the centre pass and try to get it in the shooting circle to score a goal and they have to do all this while trying to stay away from the goal defence.

The best player depends on our opinion. Lauren Jackson would be traditionally considered to be Australia's best player and I have no arguments. But you shouldn't discount the other players, such as Erin Phillips, Tully Bevilaqua.

The aim of the game is get the ball in the net as many times as you can. The game is like a mixture of basketball and football. But there stay different rules e.g. only certain players can go in some parts, you can only use your hands and you can't more with the ball (you much pivot on your back foot).

An overhead pass is a pass thrown overhead. This is done by grabbing the ball with both hands and bringing it behind your head. After that, just chuck the ball forwards. That is an overhead pass.

Because you can't run up and down the court without it very long. The more endurance the better. And in the NBA there is no breaks its all running as fast as you can to get back if you have to every possession, so they prepare for these kinds of situations by endurance workouts rather than mass workouts.

Netball players need power for when they're pasing the ball. If you don't have power and you throw the ball to someone it might not reach that person.

You use a shoulder pass when you are passing a further distance. Other wise, you use a chest pass for short distances, a lob pass when you want the ball to get over the player whom is defending you and a bounce pass for an escape.

Well netball is a sport and they proberly like it for the compotion and exercise. It also it a famous sport for eg the anz netball championship. Most countries play many sports including netball.They also might like it for friendship, exercise, compotion and to have fun.

When the refree is undecided and there is a toss up between two players. Basically the ball is tossed in the air between two players and the first person to grab it owns it.
