Where can you buy a wii u for less than 150?
I got a Wii for Christmas last year. It is almost impossible to get a Wii. A Wii averages around two to three hundred dollars. If you want to get a Wii for that cheap, you might have to go to a pawn shop. At those places, you never know if anything works.
If I were you, if I really wanted a Wii but didn't want to pay that much, I would wait a year, it will be at least $50 cheaper, and almost all of the bugs will be out of the machine. There are many types of "adapters" for a wide variety of purposes; it would be helpful to know what type of adapter you though the Wii might need. It needs, for example, its power adapter to receive power. If you were wondering about network access, the Wii has its own wireless card, so you do not need any sort of adapter if you have a wireless router. If you want to use Ethernet, however, you will need a USB LAN adapter.
The wii controller works using infered heat it given off by the sensor bar
Eh? The Wii uses a combination of infra red and bluetooth for its controllers. The control strip contains a number of IR LEDS and the controller 'sees' these.
When you use the controller as a mouse, selecting menus etc or shooting objects, the control is via the IR element. The controller also contains an XYZ sensing motion array that communicates movement direct to the base via bluetooth. According to reports, the IR works the opposite way to that expected, with the sensor data being picked up by the controller. The IR information is also fed back to the console from the controller via the bluetooth connection. TC3
What is the difference between Wii and Wii U?
It really depends on how much money you want to spend and whether you like high definition stuff. I don't have a Wii U, but in my opinion it is probably not very fun because it is more or less like a Nintendo DS with that touchscreen and stuff. I really like Wii because it already has a lot of fun games, but they might stop making them soon. It depends on whether you want the latest console, whether you like HD games, and whether you want a giant touchscreen built into your controller.
When does Pokemon Snap come out for the Wii U?

When is 007 coming out on virtual console?
Considering UK team Rare, developer of the seminal FPS GoldenEye 007, was sold to Microsoft from Nintendo and EA lost the Bond license to Activision recently, chances of the classic appearing on Virtual Console seemed slim-to-none.
But, when asked about the possibility of the James Bond shooter appearing on Nintendo's Virtual Console and/or Microsoft's XBLA, the answer given was "GoldenEye is caught up in a convoluted web of rights the likes of which would make the Weaver from Perdido Street Station jealous. That doesn't mean it won't happen, just that a lot of people with a lot of different perspectives are involved."
However, that answer hardly sheds any new light on what we already knew. Adding to this, a question was asked about other Rare games from Nintendo systems appearing on the Wii's retro service, and the response was:
"This is where we finally edge into territory that could see Scribes neutron bombed from management level. The only Rare-developed title on Virtual Console right now is the original Donkey Kong Country, and unofficially there's a strong likelihood that its sequels will follow. But the Donkey Kong series of games is a Nintendo-owned franchise starring an established Nintendo character, whereas something like Banjo isn't (and even Diddy Kong Racing is less clear-cut), so it's nowhere near as easy to call. Especially when you also consider the existence of Xbox Live Arcade. So right now, the best answer we can offer (for either download service) is 'it's possible'." http://www.cubed3.com/news/7477
