Never tilt your head back, it can damage the lining of your stomach and throat. Okay next, lean slightly forward over a sink, yes it will drip out..for now. Next, use your index finger, and press hard below the boney part of your nose. Make sure you cut off the blood flow, hold this for about a minute. It should have stopped by now.
DO NOT blow your nose yet, as this will clear out the clot and cause the bleeding to start again. If this doesn't work, try the same procedure with ice applied to the ridge of your nose.
If all these fail, please call a GP or Local Hospital, especially if you are beginning to feel Dizzy or Faint, as these are signs off mass blood loss, and you may enter into the state of shock.
Nostrils are the holes in your nose which you breathe in and out of.
They are only dangerous if you lose a lot of blood from them. (Some people don't notice how much they lose, since it drips down their throat rather than out of their nose - this is when it can be slightly dangerous). If you have a nosebleed, tilt your head forward until it finishes. If you go really (deathly) pale, or vomit blood after a nose bleed, see a doctor.
Why do you bleed white substance?

Whatever the cause she really should see a doctor and get those nosebleeds stopped. Sometimes nosebleeds are a sign of something serious, but if your daughter has been having them for three years it sounds as though she just has a fragile blood vessel in her nose. This is quite common and easily dealt with. If she has been having them a lot she may be anemic from the blood loss which would make her tired, a six-year-old does not have as much blood to lose as an adult. She may also be frightened when her nose bleeds. When it stops and the fear drains away she may fall asleep as a reaction.

I had a septoplasty two days ago, you will feel better if you remove the clot. You should be irrigating your nostrils several times a day with warm salt water. you can also soak a cptton ball in warm salt water and hold it against your nostrils to help remove the clot and dried bloodand crustiness.
Well, my sympatheis for the pain that you go through. I am only two years older than you and I have had some of the same things happen to me. The Migrains exspecialy. Now, I am not a doctor but I do have a LOT of exsperience in the area of Migrians. At one point I was having them every other day, so we started getting worried. Then we went to the doctor and they said the same thing. "Nothing wrong." So, we started watching what I was doing when I got them, what I ate them I got them, what time it was, that sort of thing. Well, we actually found that my Migrains were triggered by eating to many Carbs. But, please understand, this is not the case for everyone. I know people that have triggers from fruits, stress, and onions. So, it's a matter of what triggers you. I suggest that you start taking a log of how much you were eating and of what. Another thing I suggest is to start talking with your freinds and family about what helped when they have them. When I went to Facebook and asked around I got a number of answeres, but the most promising that I've heard so far is the Magnisim. A freind of mine said that when she was having Migrains regularly, she took a swallow of Magnisim during a Migrain and was better in five minutes. So, she drinks a cup every day and hasn't had a Migrain since. I haven't tried this yet, but I intend to.
Good luck with the remedy, Be praying for you
Nathan Braughton,
If you're referring to bleeding a brake system, then yes, it is necessary to bleed the brakes to remove air from the lines and ensure proper brake function. Air in the brake lines can lead to a spongy brake feel and decreased braking performance. Similarly, if you're talking about bleeding a radiator, it is essential to release trapped air to maintain efficient heating. Always check the specific system you’re working with for proper procedures.

It may be because you tried to snort blood back up your nose and it went down the back of your throat and it was irritating you so you started coughing and it came out that way. Same thing happened to me.
No friend does this...
It is not uncommon for people to have nose bleeds that start for no apparent reason. This is usually due to a weak or damaged blood vessel inside the nose and typically causes no serious problems. Any blood left in the nose will form a clot that comes out when you blow your nose, but is not cause for concern.
An overly dry nose can cause nose bleeds. There are nasal moisturizing gels you can pick up over the counter to help relieve this. If it continues to be a problem, go ahead and make her a doc appointment.

Probably an infected lymph node. ANOTHER ANSWER It could be caused by a sinus infection. If it does not go away and you still have sinus pressure, you should see a doctor, preferably an ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor for an antibiotic. Sinus infections that are left untreated can lead to worse and more serious problems.
