Unless one chooses to look away or denounce their application it is difficult to agree that these instructions of terror are absent in them.
3 - Actions of the followers of Islam paint a culture of terror to the secular world. We see some muslims fighting in Thailand, Russia, Myanmar, UK, Spain and USA using guns and bombs in their attempts to establish Islamic States and lately in Syria even chemical gassing on fellow muslims who stood in the way.
Terrorism is associated with Islam because of these multiple links of terror to the religion. Unlike what some choose to believe, it is not an outcome of propaganda nor media control, but clear displays of the religion's core tenets for establishing the religion.
