it wont "jam" but what will happen is you will first break o-rings in the regulator which will cause all sorts of problems in the marker itself, over-pressurizing the solenoid is just asking to break it, even if that doesnt happen you will be blowing out o-rings on your bolt causing even more problems (it would be spewing out co2 at this point)

Usually specialized paintball "pro shops" that sell paintball markers, paint[balls] in quantities of 2000 or so, paintball gear (apparel, safety googles air tanks), and may offer refills for air tanks. Usually there will be one within a paintball field or pretty close to one, and some may may be miles away from the nearest field.

"better" is a matter of opinion but largely aftermarket boards will offer more firing modes and more in depth programing over stock boards. That aside, the vast majority of stock boards today have everything you will ever use on them, all major tournament modes and many have a user defined mode already. in the last handful of years we have seen a decrease in the number of aftermarket boards largely because stock boards are getting so good.

Any paintballs sold in a store are approved for safety. Though this doesnt mean they are all the same quality. The Monster Ball series is banned from most fields due to their low quality.

Paintball tanks do not have an actual large gun on them, because there are no "giant paintballs." The tank will use normal markers witch shoot about 300 feet horizontally or a RPG simulator witch will shoot a scatter shot of several paint balls a much smaller distance.

A regulator (reg for short) is a device that will regulate the outcome pressure fro the propellant tank (HPA or Co2) It is made to regulate each air "shot" mechanically by allowing less if there is a higher pressure, or allowing more air if there is not enough pressure. It can usually be adjusted to increase and decrease airflow allowed. Some are able to handle Co2, and would help consistency greatly, but some are built only to run on HPA. Some also store air, and must be discharged one or two times, even after the tank is removed.

A red dot sight isn't very good with a paintball gun, unless it is used completely still with a bipod, using premium paint and a high end barrel. far range you can see who your shooting at. 12-14" the optimum size for a barrel. Though straight rifled barrels are more accurate than say, a Tippmann barrel, the most accurate barrels are two piece barrels, with changeable bore (diameter) inserts. Then you can overbore (have barrel slightly larger, and by slightly i mean .01 of an inch) or underbore (have it slightly smaller than the ball) or try to get it perfect, but paintball generally are not perfect spheres and vary by hundredths to tenths of an inch depending on paint quality.

There aren't any (non military) training places for paintball. The best way to improve is to listen to older players and play as often as possible.

The response trigger is a Tippmann trigger modification that allows you to use the excess CO2 from your marker (This is also how the cyclone feed works) to reset your trigger faster than the spring normally could, allowing you to shoot faster. It also allows you to hold it down in the "sweet spot" where it is automatically returning to where your finger holds it and will shoot fully automatically until you release the trigger. You cannot however hold down the trigger all the way back, as this will block the reset cylinder and cause only one shot.

Most fields would ask that you have a trigger guard so that you do not accidentally discharge your marker while not playing. However it is up to the Referee of Field manager to say what markers and modifications you can play with. Check before trying to play with it, and to be on the safe side, put one on anyways.

Yes, it is a "Class 2.2: Nonflammable Gas." It is a hazard because of the pressure, not due to combustibility or poisonous nature, since it is liquid Carbon Dioxide. They are not prohibited on large highways with material discrimination signs. They are not allowed to be brought on airplanes.
