For me it took a few days, and then I already started feeling better! I did have several side effects the first 2 weeks, like stomach nausea, headaches, no appetite, and very sleepy. I have been on it about 3 weeks now and I feel amazing, I feel this drug has saved my life. I still do take Xanax .25mg for anxiety occasionally. I take citalopram for clinical depression. There are no known negative interactions between Excedrin and Tramadol so in theory, you should be able to take one with the other. However, you should consult your doctor before combining medications.
Chantix (which is a medication commonly prescribed to quit smoking) and Adipex (which is a medication that is a commonly prescribed diet aid) can not be taken together. If these medications are taken together the side effects of each medication are increased tremendously.
Not likely. While you're taking it you may find that your weight goes up or down, but that is a possibility with almost all medications. People taking Paxil will experience weight gain more often than weight loss.
I have just been prescribed both medications and the doctor told me not to start taking the Prozac until I had finished the metronidazole course.
Do these two medicines interact? CAn you take both of them at the same time?
Generic Paxil is definitely the same with its brand name since both drugs contain the same active ingredient. The only difference is the name given by manufacturers. The generic version of Paxil is known as Paroxetine. If you are on a tight budget then you can go for generic medications since they are basically much cheaper and offer the same outcomes with the brand names.

Yes. These 3 medications are not incompatible. Paxil increases serotonin levels in the brain. Wellbutrin increases dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain. Clonazepam is a sedative which decreases anxiety.

Pot is great with Paxil. I get all the positives of being high with none of the panic or anxiety of being high. Great combo!! I also thought it was a great combo...pot can cause depression (yes, it did for me) and paxil lessens the depression. I took paxil for 11 years and was an everyday pot smoker for the same length of time. I was also taking clonazepam and wellbutrin In 2007 I ended up in the hospital suffering from extreme paranoia and psychosis. Also I could not urinate!! I had to use a catheter (for about 2 weeks, then I was going normally again) Man, that was scary!!! The doctors took me off the paxil and told me I could never smoke marijuana again. This doesn't happen to everyone, why it happened to me, I don't know.
You will gain weight with Paxil it is an SSRI. They all have weight gain as a side effect. Try Wellbutrin instead. SSRIs are very hard to get off of. Paxil and Effexor are the worst for withdraw symptoms. Don't take a drug just because your Dr tells you to. Research everything about it before you decide it is right for you.
Any position that is comfortable for you is safe for your baby. So don't worry about that. The only concern that if there is any bleeding, check with your Dr.
I am on 100mg of Methadone and have been for a few years now. Three weeks ago my doctor put me on Paxil. He said it was safe.I have noticed no side effects at all!
Paroxetine is FDA approved for the treatment of depression, as well as for anxiety disorders. (It was originally marketed under the brand name, Paxil.) Paroxetine is in the class of SSRI agents (serotonin specific reuptake inhibitors).
first of all, I'm not in any medical profession, so this my personal experience. I've been on paroxetine (paxil) for 20 years now for a panic-disorder as they call it here.
Due to a slipped disk in my back I was on Oxycodone (Oxynorm, not the slow release
Oxycontin) for the last two months. After I took it I suspected some sort of interaction
between the two drugs. I once had 10 mg morfine after an operation 3 years ago, so I thougt I knew what to expect. My dose Paxil is 30 mg daily, Oxynorm 4 to 5 times a day 5 mg. I noticed shocks in my body and I became very exited and restless and the
pain was still there. After I reduced the Paxil to 22,5 mg a day, the Oxynorm works much better and 3 pills a day is enough to even walk the dog again! So what is going in your brain when you mix those drugs? I think the go for the same receptors in your brain and when its gets a bit crowded up there you experience
some sort of serotonine-overdose and that can lead to a dangerous medical
situation. So please ask your GP or chemist, all the best from Holland, Rick
