Yes I am pretty sure it is, but always seek the advice of your doctor in these matter rather than some random guy on wikianswers who might or might not know what he is talking about. You feel me? Ask your doctor!
They are all slightly rectangular in shape, but with rounded corners. Paxil is stamped on one side and the number of milligrams is stamped on the other and it is scored.
10mg are goldenrod
20 mg are pink
30 mg are blue
40 mg are green
If it was prescribed to you for both, it should be safe, even though they are both anti-depressents. Call your pharmicist just to be sure-they know lots about stuff like that.
You can take them together with no problem. Their method of action is quite different.
I'm on it and I was sent to the doctor for a low white blood cell count so maybe
These two drugs, when taken together, can affect the Central Nervous System. Not in a life threatening way, but you should avoid tasks that require a lot of mental alertness until you know how these agents affect you. If they do begin to affect you significantly poorly, you should consult a physician immediately.
no its not safe in fact no offense it sounds like a stupid thing to do
Medical questions of this sort should really be discussed with your doctor. While it is certainly possible to stop taking anything, the question is, what are the consequences if you do? Presumably you are taking it for some reason. Possibly there is an alternative treatment that you can use.
Do not use delsym cough medicine while on Prozac / fluoxetine this can cause hallucinations and serotonin imbalance i am not sure about mucinex but so far i Havent found any thing saying you cant take those two medicines together . ask your local pharmacist about drug interactions they will be able to tell you the most accurate information
Yes, this combination should be safe to use together. Celexa acts on neurotransmitters at a different point in the brain than dose Chantix, which acts on receptor sites for nicotine.
Answer (2)With a doctor's prescription Celexa can be legally purchased from online pharmacies. If you quit cold turkey, Paxil has withdrawal symptoms that are flu-like. Prozac doesn't have any withdrawal symptoms. That's why I switched.
i could move a helium balloon...only been on it week... jeez i think it does.
It's funny you should this, I would get anxiety when I used Nyquil while I was taking paxil. I think you shouldn't use the Nyquil with DXM in it while on paxil
While the drug effexor will show up on your drug screen, quite possibly as a PCP, the lab technician will be able to tell that it is a medication. The only way this can hurt you, is if you do not have a valid prescription in your name. If you do, then you have no worries.
No, they cannot be taken together. Each increases the level or effect of the other by altering drug metabolism.
I did this once. Say you are taking 10mg of Lexapro daily. Do a week first of 10mg one day, 5mg the next, 10 mg, 5, 10, 5, etc. Then, do a week of taking all 5mg. Then, do a week of taking 5mg, 0, 5, 0, 5, etc. Then you will likely be ok being off it!
I had really bad side effects during the 0-5-0-5 week. To make it easier, I added another week of 0-0-5-0-0-5. That helped me! To get 5mg, either get a pill-splitter or use a knife and cut them in half.
Good luck and take your time! :-) Tom - Everything I have read suggests a much slower weaning process to avoid withdrawal sysmptoms. Also, avoid alcohol while weaning.
It's hard to say if Lexapro or other antidepressants cause miscarriage, but this recent study suggests that it may increase the chances:

I continued taking Lexapro on my doctor's advice when I became pregnant, and miscarried at 9 weeks. I'll never know what caused it. I don't know how I will handle this choice if/when I become pregnant again.
