Percocet and Percodan

The same, basically, except that 5 mg tabs of percocet also contain 500 mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen). Percocet is the same as oxycodone otherwise. A pill marked Watson 825 is a generic version for Percocet manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals. It is OXYCODONE 10 MG / ACETAMINOPHEN 650 MG. It is the same chemical compound as the brand name Percocet. It is the strongest percocet available on the market.

There's an effect on the depressant side effects of Percocet - how much is dependent on the strength of the alcohol, the size of the person, the person's overall tolerance level to opiates and alcohol, etc. The risk is that too much can depress a person's nervous system to the point of respiratory failure, and then cardiac arrest.

For someone like me who uses a lot of Percocet (120-150 per month, 10mg dosage) I don't really feel much effect when I have a drink. But I'm not a small person either - I'm 6' 250lbs. Since I use a much stronger opiate than Percocet for my primary pain, it takes a lot to affect me. Someone not as tolerant would likely feel the effects much quicker.

It all depends on your body weight and tolerance. If you've never taken Vicodin before, 5mg orally (taking the pill whole) would probably produce a slight buzz/dizziness. Crushing and snorting the pill would yield stronger and more immediate results.

In my experience with drug abuse, when it doubt start with 1 and work your way up. I am not sure if 50 mg's of this substance is considered a high or low dose, so dose accordingly. Do some research on the internet and be safe. No point in dying just trying to get high. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING DRUGS YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH. I cannot stress this enough. Good luck.

Depending if usen once or for years it can be 3 days if sometimes user it can be 7plus if ur a long time user..

No matter how long you take percocet, which is an synthesized opiate - It will clear your system in four to six days. Fact ! But if you have taken it for a couple months you will go through a hellish withdrawal if you just stop taking it "cold turkey" as they say !

Vicodin and Norco are the same medications. Both contain the active drug called Hydrocodone.

Percocet and Oxycontin are brand names of two medications both containing the opiate/narcotic, oxycoDONE. The difference is that percocet is oxycodone and acetaminophen aka Tylenol, also sold in various dosages under names such as endocet or oxycodone/apap to name a couple. Oxycontin is the time released version of oxycodone containing no 'Tylenol'.

Yes - as long as you're not taking a controlled/time release drug, crushing or chewing it okay unless specifically warned against. I use a lot of Percocet (120-150 10/325's per month) and generally take 2 or 3 at a time. Since I use so much, I always chew them down before drinking and washing them down the hatch to help my stomach. It does help some with constipation problems.

With timed-release drugs like Oxycontin, by crushing them you effectively negate the time release component of the drug, getting a massive dose immediately. That's how idiots usually wind up dead since they're not used to the higher doses. Darwin Award candidates for sure.

Any uncoated, and some coated/time release pill, is injectable. It's a matter of what (to determain whether you want to die from it or not) and/or how much (to determain how long it takes to kill you).

My doctor has had me on this combination for a month now. I take 5/325 percocet with 8mg zanaflex for neck/shoulder strain/spasms. I can't do much while taking these doses together so I stick to taking them together at night when I go to bed. During the day time I stick to just the zanaflex.

Doctors won't normally recommend it, but you can. In addition to the high amount of Percocet that I use, I also have severe migraines, which affects a different part of the nervous system that Percocet won't affect.

In those cases I use a drug call Fiorinal with Codeine, which is a combination drug containing Butalbital, Aspirin and Codeine, with a shot of Caffeine as well. I don't feel any problems from the interaction, and Percocet opiate levels are at pretty high levels in my system.

Every person is different though, so even though you can take them together doesn't mean you should or that it will affect you the same as it does me. Always check with your MD first or your Pharmacist. Pharmacists are usually more up front and honest than MD's are.
