Grover Underwood is a satyr who is Percy Jackson's protector and formerly Thalia Grace's protector. He is also Percy Jackson best friend and shares an empathy link with him meaning if one of them dies, the other will suffer severe consquences. He is 32 in the Last Olympian but acts, talks and is more similar to a 16 year old human since satyrs age half as fast as humans.

He aspires to get his searcher's licence so he can look for the god Pan. Eventually he achieves this. He has curly brown hair and horns. From the waist down he is goat and from above the waist he is human. He is said to walk with a limp that looked like every step hurt. To disguise himself in front of humans he wears Converse High-Tops to hide his hooves, baggy jeans, and a green rasta cap to hide his horns.

Most of his family is unknown but we do know that everyone in his family has disappeared while trying to find Pan. His Uncle Ferdinand got turned into stone while searching for Pan. He eventually got a girlfriend in The Battle of Labyrinth, Juniper who is a tree nymph.

Grover, along with Percy Jackson, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Annabeth Chase and others, saw Pan die. He is an outcast in satyr world because they didn't believe that he was telling the truth about Pan. He lead the nature spirits in the war against Kronos. He gets a spot on the Council of Cloven Elders for his effort in the war.

He loves enchiladas and nature and detests pollution. He has a crush on Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and maidens.

He has a phobia of bunnies, as revealed in The Last Olympian, and Cyclopes, as shown in many books.

He is played by Brandon T. Jackson in the film adaptation of The Lightning Thief.

While reading the book there were many times of foreshadowing but the one that caught my eye the most was when luke was talking to Percy in the

Hermes CAbin and he told Percy that he hates his father and the gods for taking control of them!

His character is actually not very unique and analogous to other characters like Harry Potter. He is meant to be very brave and courageous, but this is not portrayed very well by the actor. The actor also seems to inadequately illustrate his humbleness, and he comes across as very full of himself at times.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare was able to turn into the Oracle of Delphi because she was a rare mortal able to see through the mist and foretell the future. And the curse of HAdes was lifted so she coulod be it. it was also her fate.

Actually in the actual movie, they didn't!!

They were about to and then suddenly Annabeth takes percy's sword and says something like: "Rule number one, never let your opponent distract you!"

And then they fight again and that's when the movie ends!

Percy learns that his father left before he was born, so he never met him.

Annabeth Chase likes to design large and complicated structures. She wants to be an architect.

REAL CER QUESTION AND MY ANSWER:

Mr. D. will be a villain. For example, on page 69, Chiron states, “Mr. D. offended his father a while back, took a fancy to a wood nymph who had been declared off-limits.” Percy then repeated, “A wood nymph.” Then Mr. D. confessed, “Yes, Father loves to punish me. The first time, Prohibition. Ghastly! Absolutely horrid ten years!“ At this point, Mr. D. sounds really mad about when his father used to punish him. The researcher writing this paper, believes Mr. D. will get worked up about his punishments and turn into a villain and maybe try to get revenge on his father.

He's exited because he feels special. He's part of a prophecy, he's been through so much!

The author made the name up. Within the story, that was short for "Perseus", being named after a figure of Greek legend.

I guess...be careful who your friends are, they can act like your friends but will probably betray you, like what Luke did...

i say it depends because if you read the book before you see the movie, you won't really enjoy the movie, and in that case avatar is better. But , if u dont read the book, the movie will be awesome!!

The masterbolt was Zeus powerful weapon in ancient Greek times. Zeus thinks Percy stole it because he thought during the winter solstice (when the camp took a field trip to mount Olympus) Percy snuck into the throne room using hades helmet of darkness and stole the master bolt

Yes, they do. She kisses him on the cheek for good luck. Now he keeps asking before any battle. (haha)

But they also kiss TWO times in the last book. On the same page. (373) One on land and the other underwater.

Clarisse and the ares camper spy on the first kiss and carry them to the canoe lake, throw them in, and wait at the edge of the lake for them to come up for air. but when you the son of Poseidon.... that's a different story!

Most satyrs want to find Pan to save nature.

Percy, his demigod friend Annabeth daughter of Athena, and Grover a satyr go on a journey to save Percy's mom from the underworld. They meet monsters like Medusa and Echnida. Luke son of Hermes stole Zeus' masterbolt but everyone thinks it was Poseidon, Percy's dad. Ares god of war catches Luke with the masterbolt and Hades helmet that makes you invisible. After being easily persuaded by Luke to join his side which you later find out is Kronus' side. Ares plants the masterbolt on Percy and his friends to take to the underworld where he was supposed to unexpectedly meet Kronus and Kronus would get the bolt. But Percy manages to get away from the underworld although he wasn't able to bring his mom. After he found out he had the bolt he meets Ares again and manages to win Hades helmet. Percy sends the hat to the underworld in exchange for his mom. Percy then returns the bolt to Zeus.
