There are also some swine diseases that could cause this. If it is possible to quarantine the animal, until it can be checked out by a vet, it couldn't hurt. Just use caution. Many swine diseases can be transmitted to people. Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae is one of them. It is bacterial, can cause lameness, and is transmittable. That does not mean it is what you hog has, but you should use precautions until you know for sure.

This could be due to a number of reasons, either the piglet is sick, the mother's feed has been changed and is affecting the piglet through the breast milk, if it is just weaned off of the mother and is being fed a new feed it may be causing some irritation in the digestive system, or there are environmental changes such stress, weather, or other factors. It is best to contact your veterinarian to give it medication and to conclude what factor is causing the diarrhea.

Can tea cup pigs live outside?
Tea cup pigs are like puppy's only they dont bark. they need to be let outside to run around and get there daily excercise. you can let them live outside but i would recomend you have them as inside pigs because they start off small they are very naive and will go under a gate or fence, just like a dog, and run away. they are very friendly but if you neglect them by leaving them outside for long periods of time they will become aggressive towards you or anyone else.
