The question provided is not suffice...there are many varieties of pine.....it depends upon the name of a specific pine tree..
Most definitely. If you don't have your pine straw spread in one day, they infest. In one day you have to spread it around your house, and them spread pesticide (the best) on top of that (do this every few months). I do this every spring/ summer in Georgia for about 5-7 years, seen it all done it all. Hope this helps.

Yes, this is if it is from a managed tree farm and cut down trees are replaced with new ones.
The number of pine needles per bundle varies by species from 2-5. The Northeastern White Pine has 5 needles per bundle.
They do that every now and then. It might mean that that particular tree isn't doing too well, and that it's putting all effort into seeds that might end up somewhere better.
A pine tree is both. It consumes water and minerals from the earth and produces seeds timber etc.
Yes and No.
Some of the advantages of working with pine is that it is about 1/10 the cost of common hardwoods like oak and almost every hardware/lumber store has many different sizes and cuts of pine lumber to choose from. Pine is relatively soft and can be easy to cut, carved and sanded.
The disadvantages of using pine is that it is extremely soft. It warps, dents and scratches extremely easy. Pine also contains more sap than most woods, and can be sticky and messy to work with as well as coat your blades and tools with pitch. Pine also needs to acclimatize to the environment it will exist in as a finished product. Pine is often very wet, and when it dries i can crack and warp. Sometimes you have to let pine sit inside your workshop/house for months, to let it dry properly before your project, otherwise once assembled into a piece of furniture, it may warp. There is always exceptions to the rule. You can minimize the warping factor by using pine as the framework, and other woods like hardwood plywood or oak as the coverings. You can also pick through the best looking and driest pieces at the store.
When you cut the tree down the roots will live on and continue to support your slope. Slowly another tree will start to grow. However, if you kill the roots they will eventually rot out and your slope will lose it's support.
It depends on how much paper one person recycles; the organizations do not give stats for one person. However, every ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees. That means each tree is worth about 117.647058824 pounds of paper (rounded up it is 117.65 pounds). According to the University of Southern Indiana, "The average household throws away 13,000 separate pieces of paper each year. Most is packaging and junk mail." "If every American recycled just one-tenth of their newspapers, we would save about 25,000,000 trees a year."
It is best not to fertilize pine trees, as all they really need is mainly sunshine and water. At most add only a tablespoon of balanced fertilizer to the dirt and then water to let nutrients reach the tree.
Because the state legislature made that decision, the Governor approved and signed it into law on 23 June 1931. It is a wonderful tree and can reach upward to 150 feet or more.
Yep, that's it.
...as wide as you let it grow! Here, in Ashley County, Arkansas, we have an enormous tree, which takes about 5 grown people, arms outstretched, to surround the base of the trunk, it is located just a few feet off hwy 52 between Crossett and Hamburg.
They are wind-pollinated. The anthers will release the pollen when the conditions are right, (usually about 2pm West-USA time) when the day is at it's warmest and the air at it's driest. Pollen is not released when it rains as rain has a devastating affect on pollination - it simply wipes the pollen out of the sky.
