Answer For the most part, most media doesn't seem to consider this phrase as being vulgar. Why? I haven't the faintest idea. Although recently, I personally have noticed that the song is now actually edited. (As of February '07 is when I first heard it as edited). This started after the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake Superbowl controversy and new FCC laws.

If you mean "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, it is a tribute song about the group's founder, Syd Barrett , who took too many drugs and became distant and unable to function with the group. Despite having removed him from the group, they found after awhile that they missed their friend.

Pink and her teacher never got on... however pink came up with an amazing poem which gave ecstatic beauty, but pink called her teacher a name so even if the teacher did like it she would not share her inside feelings.

(An addition to the other answer, I thought I'd give my opinion.) I think that the Teacher hated Pink' poem because in Roger's view, schools are just factories to make kids exactly the same, or standardize them (which is what the faceless masks mean). So when Pink chose to speak out, and write a poem, which is a form of creativity, the Teacher did not want Pink to be creative, and told him to get on with his work. So the Teacher is just trying to make Pink like everyone else... the same, unthinking, kid. -Hunt (this is all my own analysis btw, I don't know if it's the truth)

I believe the second writer above hit the nail on the head; spot-on as they say across the pond! BTW, if you listen to the poem, you'll notice it's the lyrics to "Money" from Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album.

The controversy about the first minute of the track Cluster One by Pink Floyd is because it includes white noise. The listener is made to feel that there is something wrong with their copy of the track because of the sound and length of time it lasts.

He didn't leave, he was kicked out. The rest of the band found it impossible to continue performing with him, so they stopped picking him up for gigs and eventually decided they would be better off, even without his songwriting abilities.

The Dark Side of the Moon remained on the Billboard 200 for 741 consecutive weeks(over 14 years). No albums have surpassed this and it's highly unlikely that any ever will.

Pink Floyd is a band and therefore does not have one particular mother. 'Mother' was a song released by Pink Floyd in 1979 on their popular album The Wall.

There are not and never have been any formal studies on this subject. The "perfection" of climate is very subjective. When for some individuals the perfect weather is a warm, clear skies, all year placid weather, the perfect weather for a climatologist is the most equitable climate not necessarily warm or sunny.

Another Answer As the above post indicates, it depends on what you like. No matter the climate there will be those who find fault. I visited Bogota Colombia and the residents were complaining that the temperature was too cold and they had to wear a sweater. It was mid 70's (Fahrenheit). I thought it was ideal. Hawaii is nice but they do get the occasional storm, then there are those hurricanes that occasionally wreak havoc and the volcano's, but some people like that kind of variety.

Mexico City seems nice, as does Curacao. In general, when you're close to the equator AND close to the ocean you'll have milder weather. But then you'll also be subjected to severe storms. There probably is no such thing as perfect weather.
