The mother is exposed to fetal blood during childbirth or abortion. The Rh+ proteins on the surface of fetal erythocytes can trigger an immune response in the mother. This creates antibodies in the mother and memory lymphocytes that are able to create more antibodies.

In the second pregnancy with a fetus with Rh factor, the antibodies in maternal blood can cross the placenta to the fetus and attack the fetus's erythocytes to cause erythroblastosis fetalis. The maternal blood in the first pregnancy does not contain such antibodies to cause the problem because the mother has never been exposed to the Rh factor until the time of first childbirth with the antigen.

If you're talking about pregnancy I noticed it was hard about 2 weeks pregnant this is all the hormones and your uterus rushing with blood to make sure the embryo sticks to your womb properly I'd say most women notice about 3-5 weeks that their stomach gets a little bloated or even hard

Uncomfortable, it's like waiting a year rather than a month to give birth some women also have the 'burger' affect where their vagina swells and it hurts

I would say when the hormones reach their peak so some women experience sickness between 2 weeks and up to 12 weeks some unlucky ones get it all the way through

This is different for everyone but in my experience, my breasts started hurting right away. I didn't realize it was because I was pregnant until I went to the doctor and they told me I was. They started out hurting a lot when I didn't have a bra on and since then have gotten a lot bigger, harder and still sore with no bra on.
