A pregnant woman can eat seafood but she must be very careful about what seafoods she can eat because a lot of seafood contains mercury, which can be very harmful to the fetus. Bottom-feeder fish are the worst. A pregnant woman should definitely avoid:

  • swordfish
  • shark
  • blowfish
  • tilefish
  • king mackerel

The following fish should not be eaten because they can contain industrial pollutant in their fatty tissues:

  • blue fish
  • stripped bass
  • salmon
  • pike
  • trout
  • walleye

Pregnant women should also avoid soft cheeses, hot dogs, deli meats, uncooked dairy foods.

A:Basically anything you did before, but try eating healthy because that old saying "you are eating for two now" still applies. You may find that certain foods may give you heartburn when it didn't before. Onions, cucumbers, etc., are often the culprits. Some people have odd reactions to foods that they normally wouldn't have. Back off of junk foods (a little is OK) and also coffee and tea. If you smoke stop! A sip of wine when out is OK, but most young mother nix the alcohol and drink a juice or water instead. Eat lots of fruits that have lots of bright colors and try to eat fruits and vegitables instead of your normal unhealful snacks. Also eat lots of high protein foods. But also you will need lots of carbo hidrates like lots of pasta:1 because you will now be eating for 2 and pasta is a very substantial food. Good luck to you and your baby! A:Anything healthy A:Fish, broccoli. Folic acid. A:When you are pregnant you should be eating extremely healthy foods and be making sure that you can get all of the fruits, veggies, meats, proteins, calciums, etc that you need in your diet. Some things you should NOT do in your pregnancy are drink more than a glass or two of alcohol a day, even this may be bad, do not do drugs, smoke, etc, and definitely drive safe. Keep yourself in safe zones at all times (or try to).

My fiance and i have been trying to get pregnant and in the mean time i am on a diet if i have already conceived can these harm the baby?

YES, if you are on a self-starvation diet or are on something that restricts your body's hunger calls it is harmful already. Even as a tiny growing fetus your baby still feeds off of you and depends on you. AVOID diet pills, for one they are not only extremely harmful to you and can tear up your inner organs but are placing chemicals into your growing baby's body. Compare it to taking street drugs while pregnant. Pretty much the same effect.

Why cant pregnant women eat canned tuna?

I ate Subway at least two times per week with tuna and all salads. My toddler is very advanced for her age and very very smart. People asked if I took a multivitamin whilst pregnant. I didn't take any multi vitamins only Dr Scheusslers tissue salts. There is a pregnancy tissue salt programme on the net that I followed. Before 2 she was already talking alot. I did not eat tuna in my first pregnancy and there was a delayed speech for my daughter. She still has problems today and she's 8.

Is Aloe vera juice safe to drink if you are pregnant?

No

It is actually very bad, i drank that when i was pregnant and my baby has turned out with downs syndrome

Hope i helped

x

Actually down syndrome is a chromosome disorder and has absolutely nothing to do with anything you did or didn't do during your pregnancy. So please do not blame aloe vera juice or yourself for your child's condition. It has not been diffinitively established if aloe vera is safe during pregnancy. It seems that aloe vera juice could help with many of the symptoms associated with pregnancy, but there are some concerns about its laxative effects and ability to cause uterine contractions. It is probably best to consult with your practitioner before using, but probably used in moderation in later stages would not cause any harm and definitely would not cause down syndrome.
