You can give them several things! But, there are many poison plants as well like stinging nettle, foxglove, and roadside plants ( they contain gasoline fumes). but there favourite ones are dandelions!

The animals need to keep moving their ears around as there are so many noises around them, they are a prey animal and so always have to keep an ear out for the predators which may be aproaching them from any angle. This constant moving of the ears enables the animals to listen for any sound which may become a threat to itself or the other rabbits in its warren (as rabbits tend to be social creatures and graze together), if the animals did not use their excellent hearing all the time the animal would not live very long.

Let mom take care of her babies! If one is born dead, she'll know what to do. Don't massage the kits, try not to touch them at all. Consult a vet if you'd really like to. But just sit back, don't bother her or the kits, and just let Nature take course.

You do not need to judge a rabbit by its color. I did with my first rabbit and I ended up with a bunny that bit me and used me as a "restroom". Get a rabbit by its temperment. spend some time with the bunnies before you decide. the calmer the bunny, the more relaxed it is, the better.

Sadly yes, I found two wild baby rabbits and they both had mites and ticks. There where red small ones and gray gigantic ones. You should never touch a rabbit or any animal that has mites or ticks. They will make you itch and it is untreatable!

Rabbit manure (or pooties ;) makes wonderful garden fertiliser! It doesn't need to be composted prior to adding it to your garden. Rabbit urine is alkaline, not acidic, so what rabbits leave in their litter-boxes is excellent for roses, vegetables, or even indoor plants! Work it into the dirt to help improve poor soil, or use to replace peat-moss.

Using rabbit pooties will also discourage wild rabbits from eating what your garden produces! Because the wild bunnies smell the presence of "other" bunnies, they will assume that another warren has already "claimed" that bit of territory and stay away!
