Why do rabbits keep turning their big sound-collecting ears?
They are listening all around.
The animal is listening to the sounds around itself and other rabbits around the warren. The animals need to keep moving their ears around as there are so many noises around them, they are a prey animal and so always have to keep an ear out for the predators which may be aproaching them from any angle. This constant moving of the ears enables the animals to listen for any sound which may become a threat to itself or the other rabbits in its warren (as rabbits tend to be social creatures and graze together), if the animals did not use their excellent hearing all the time the animal would not live very long.

Let mom take care of her babies! If one is born dead, she'll know what to do. Don't massage the kits, try not to touch them at all. Consult a vet if you'd really like to. But just sit back, don't bother her or the kits, and just let Nature take course.

-The 11th commandment
well,
it takes a while! just wait. pluss, i think it has to be married
A rabbit is old enough to become pregnant and have babies when they are 4-6 months old BUT you should wait to breed your doe until she is at least 6 months old OR has reached mature weight and size. This is the reason that every rabbit should have it's own cage - to prevent unwanted pregnancies in immature rabbits.
Are hares and rabbits the same?
Yes, they are the same animal.
"Bunny" is another word for "rabbit": "bunnies" is just a nickname that rabbits were given.
A different opinion: While many people believe them to be the same thing, Rabbits and Bunnies are distinctly yet intricately different species. Bunnies, Rabbits, Hares, and Pikas all share common ancestry but are quite different, as characterized by popular media: Bugs Bunny, Roger Rabbit, Peter Pika, and Harry Hare.
A response: Popular media doesn't always represent reality! It is true what you said about rabbits, hares and pikas, but you're wrong about bunnies: they are not a distinct animal.
Here's how the nickname came about: long, long ago, rabbits were called "coneys" (pronounced with a soft 'o', as in "honey"). Back then, "rabbit" was in fact the name for baby coneys. The name "bunny" became a nickname for coneys, because the two words rhyme. Eventually, the word "coney" dropped out of use, and "rabbit" came to be used for adults, while "kits" (from "kittens") came to be used for babies; the nickname "bunny" stuck around and is still used today.

They do not need to be bathed. If they are shedding you should groom them. If they are dirty, then they need to be cleaned. Make sure their cage is kept clean.
Can wild rabbits leave fleas in your lawn?
Sadly yes, I found two wild baby rabbits and they both had mites and ticks. There where red small ones and gray gigantic ones. You should never touch a rabbit or any animal that has mites or ticks. They will make you itch and it is untreatable!
Plus they carry diseases to animals and man.

How does a rabbit excrete waste?
Rabbit manure (or pooties ;) makes wonderful garden fertiliser! It doesn't need to be composted prior to adding it to your garden. Rabbit urine is alkaline, not acidic, so what rabbits leave in their litter-boxes is excellent for roses, vegetables, or even indoor plants! Work it into the dirt to help improve poor soil, or use to replace peat-moss.
Using rabbit pooties will also discourage wild rabbits from eating what your garden produces! Because the wild bunnies smell the presence of "other" bunnies, they will assume that another warren has already "claimed" that bit of territory and stay away!
a bunny because it was more and there much more clever.
